I got stupid lucky that #439 came up for sale the very first day I started looking on NAM for R56s, and it was local to me so I could go see it the next day. Just keep an eye out and hopefully you'll get lucky too

I had some thoughts of selling mine but the price would have to be right mine has 32000 miles on it. I had it posted on Craigslist not one bite but I had it price pretty high.

 

Selling one for much more than a comparable JCW will be hard. Other than the color, i think everything on it can be duplicated on another JCW. For most people, they will not understand the price difference unless they are a dedicated WC50 fan. Even most MINI owners won't be willing to spend much more for it over a comparable JCW. In fact, most won't like it for the fact that it is a color most people would not particularly like. I personally like the WC50 and it's unique color. Would I pay any extra for it and it's exclusivity? Maybe, but not much more. Just my two centavos...

 

i think 20-25k would be a fair price for a one in 50 car. even though other regular JCW's are going for less - those are dime a dozen. its a colloector car and i wouldnt let mine go for less than 23,000

Hello just thought I'd throw it out to the WC50 Owners thread before I list it.
It's a Southern California car (Pasadena), always garaged and in perfect condition. 38K miles. New clutch and new brakes. Everything is original (including the JCW suspension) and only thing I've done was to remove the clear bra and replace the hood stripes with brand new WC50 hood stripes. I had to special order those from Germany and have and extra set. Timing belt tensioner was changed under warranty. I'm out of the country and will be back in a couple of weeks and will post some better pictures. It's a little difficult to get a true KBB or Edmunds value for the WC50 but it will be priced to sell. Shoot me any inquiries and I'll answer any questions anyone may have. Thanks!

 

Good luck on the sale. Love that color, when these came out we only had one per dealership , i have only seen two parked together.
