Carvana doesn’t negotiate and it’s priced kind of high considering they have no idea what a WC50 is lol. That being said, I tried to call in a favor to a friend, we’ll see what happens.

As far as work goes, front bumper and hood will definitely need a respray (I cant stand front license plate holes and there’s paint chips and dents on the hood). Drivers seat needs a minor refurbish, new dash pieces since the carbon fiber is incorrect and damaged, new steering wheel, all new fluids, polish and ceramic coat, and I’m sure I wouldn’t stop there.

Saw that the other day and before i could see it, it showed purchase pending. Looks like its in process to be sold. Numbers missing, no hood stripes, miss-matched CF dash. Wheel arches look all bleached out. Possible can be fixed or replace.

Hopefully someone on here can get it.

I offered $17k, which is probably more than the car is worth. Dealer is consigning it for the owner who refuses to take less than $22k for it so he doesn’t take a loss on it. (He paid around $17k for it 2 hears ago, plus shipping, very minor maintenance and dealer consignment fee). Makes sense why the car hasn’t sold in 1.5 years.

That doesn't seem unreasonable to me if it has a clean car fax. If I was one car lighter right now, I'd gently haggle and come to an agreement on that car knowing it'd cost another 2k to get it home.

Definitely a beautiful one, and just up the road from me. Turns out there are a lot of WC50s here in the Bay Area!

That WC50 in SJ needs some minor work to make it 'bristol' ... But the parts needed to do that aren't expensive. ... and some paint correctio, spots, any PDR, that ALL R56's need over 20k-miles (add some good PPF following).... Seems like a good value on a California car... which is so much more worth it compared to a rust-belt/east coast car that has been driven in the snow/salt.

Though my standard is pretty high on the details and maint... I'd drive it hard and often .

Might just be the replacement for my PW/CR R56 .... I'll have to stop by this week.... Too bad I sold my set of R56 Recaros... would have been perfect in the car while preserving the original seats on the shelf !

Glad it's not on BAT... would be north of $25k for sure.

These cars are reasonably priced IMHO... especially compared to current offerings... What does $22k get you on the market these days in comparison??

This would be my answer to your question, which may have been rhetorical. haha

Not saying any of these are a better option, just thinking about what other somewhat special MINIs might be in consideration at $22k.

For $22k, you could get a similar mileage ~2017 JCW, which is obviously not nearly as special as the WC50, but is quite a bit newer. You could get one in Rebel Green if you like the WC50.

Or, personally, I bought an Ice Blue Edition (<500 made) 2018 Cooper S, which is less special, but still rare and uniquely painted, but is much newer and has only 22k miles.

I'd also be looking at GP2s if I was considering spending $22k on an R56. Different car, for sure, only two seats, etc., but still a very special and even-higher-performance R56.

All good options, IMO. Hard to choose, but probably dependent quite a bit on use case.

Carvana WC50

So I am the new owner of the Carvana WC50 and in doing a bit of research I believe its # 405 its missing the numbers, hood stripes and COA.... :(
The numbers and hood stripes are not an issue I can get these but the missing COA is a bummer, Does anyone have any Ideas on getting a replacement COA?

Getting a replacement CoA is a long shot. Try talking directly to the parts manager of your nearest MINI dealership and ask them to open a case with MINI USA. I was able to get a replacement JCW Cert this way recently, but the WC50 CoA is far more involved.

Alternative is to attempt to recreate one, or look for a prior owner (on this thread or through the Facebook group) to see if they have it.

Congratulations on picking up the car!

Duplicate COA’s are not available through MINI. They did not keep copies and can not recreate them.

I have the stock **** but with Cravenspeed’s adjustable short shifter and retaining clip. Snick-snick. Unlocks a new level of fun and keeps the interior looking stock.

Wc 405

Well Mini usa confirmed that I in fact have WC # 405 thats the good news. As far as the COA they cant and wont replace it. So if I want one I have to recreate it same thing with the scudle numbers. This is where the WC 50 group can help I need High resolution photos of your Scudle numbers a 4, 0 and a 5 preferably with a standard ruler in the frame so I can have mine recreated.( Thank you all for that ) Now as far as the bonnet stripes go I plan on having them painted on and a stencil made from a sticker and have that painted on top then clear coat over it all

Bonnet stripe

You can purchase the bonnet stripes. Dealer price might be cheaper. But can also purchase from ECS. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/51147267894/

Carsandbids auction is done. Well, it looks like someone has gotten back to WC50 ownership again, I'll let him re-intro himself.

EDIT - disregard, found it

Does anyone know the part number for the WC50 floor mats? They have a red stitch, slightly different than the usual mats. Probably NLA, but worth checking.

@ECS Tuning ?
