We tried getting on the WC50 Facebook Group, but our membership remains pending. Our #424 is still for sale if anyone knows someone looking for a WC50. I believe we are priced fairly, but are open to offers on the car! Cheers! https://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-Mini-C...-/124086605726
I've owned WC50 #402 and #415...such rare and special cars.
Bought #402 brand-new from Morristown MINI in NJ and drove it back to Miami.
Car #415 was purchased used.
Would love to have another...but my budget can't get there...
Wow, that price is crazy! I mean I hope they get it. But just comparing that to a 19k last year that sold in SF Bay Area for approx. $20k, I think that will be a tall order.

Agree. But I don't fault anyone for trying.
An eBay dealer/seller recently listed a WC50 with ~42k miles for $16,900. It was also in the NAM classifieds. I think they accepted a lower offer, as it didn't sell on eBay after re-listing a few times and now it's marked as sold on the dealer's website.
I was interested in buying it, but I couldn't get definitive information about whether or not the common issues with the early R56 were addressed.
Impressive price for a WC50. They have the information accurate though. The mileage is midway for one of these. I have seen prices steadily rising for World Championship 50’s.
Even though I sold mine years ago, it’s great to see updates from the current WC50 owners. Take good care of these exceptionally rare cars! Still the best looking modern MINI to ever leave Plant Oxford.
I am checking in to see which owners are still watching this thread here. Let me know and your car number. Also, is anyone aware of any WC50 cars that are totaled, not in service anymore, or have been moved out of the country. I have numbers 415 in Puerto Rico, number 416 in Guatemala, number 417 totaled and number 443 totaled. I am just trying to see how many of the original 50 in the US still exist here. Right now it’s 46. Thanks!

I owned 415 and sold it to PR, as mentioned above.
Also owned 402 but no idea where it ended up...
I would love to find another WC50.
437 still resides in San Jose mini coop. I drove it this week for the first time in months.... The spiders that had built webs between the bottom of the car and garage floor were not pleased. Its amazing that the battery is now around 11-years old, but the car starts right up every time.
Had #439 out today with MINIs & Coffee Silicon Valley for a rally along Skyline Blvd. Great stuff with awesome people and their Minis, and me in the Connaught Green spreading the love for WC50s
Low mileage, but it doesn't even look like they cleaned the car properly before taking pictures. And why do the wheel arch trim pieces look so bad, like someone tried to apply wax on there. I'd be cautious on why there are no hi-res pictures of the exterior of the car. And yes, i hope the certificate of authenticity is still with the current owner.
Does anybody have any more information on this car? I wish I knew what number it was. Also wondering why the clutch was replaced at 19k miles and why the dash piece around the steering wheel isn’t the proper carbon fiber? The condition of the car as a whole definitely seems pretty rough for a car with only 30k miles. Steering wheel needs to be replaced as well.
Good eye krawzdogg, the driver side carbon fiber dash piece looks like the R53 version? A couple of other areas of caution- carbon fiber dash on the passenger side, looks like possible marring. Rear bumper seems may have a slight dent or could be bad lighting.
Definitely could be 405 based on that post. I was excited when I first saw it listed for sale but there’s a lot of weird things going on. The Carfax looks good though lol. Gorgeous car but it needs a lot of work to bring it back to its former glory.
A lot of work is debatable. It looks
to me like it was parked outside not in a garage. Fading badges and trim. Aesthetically wouldn’t be much effort to get this one back to its best - a few hundred bucks + clean/polish/ceramic and it’ll be the finest car in the Costco parking lot 🥳 if it was local this would already be in my garage. It’s a no brainer. Buy it, drive it 20k in the next 10 years and sell it for twice what you paid for it (Atleast)
