mini coop - thanks for the insight. My local MINI dealer had told me the same about these 2 colors being the same but I wasn't 100% sure - thanks for confirming.
I will buy the Rebel Green from my local dealer!

I'll check out the FB group too...

Rebel Green is a “tribute” color to Connaught Green. It is not the same process though as ours. We had the green painted over black after being pulled off the line. For those in the US, the cars are registered typically as black once they entered the country. After ownership, the color may have been changed to green. A few of friends in Europe have their cars registered as blue.
