Picked up the LaserBlue JCW today

Helped a friend take delivery of his 09 JCW Hardtop today in Denver.

Since he is not on NAM and I was the photographer, I get to post his pictures.

Here are a couple, ending with his and mine side by side after a little break-in drive from the South of Denver to Louisville. We had a real good time doing the outer loop and we saw two MINIs going South, too.

I would love to see it, because I ordered a Laser Blue JCW also.

Wizeguy999, does your internet service restrict images from Picasa, they are hosted on that website.

Send me a PM if you still cannot see the inline images, I will send you a link.

It is a very good color on the MINI and the 09 JCW with JCW bodykit just brings it out better. It is LB/W with white mirrors.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you still get a white top on any of the Minis? I thought it was just black and silver now?

Thanks for enlightening me!

White and black for the top of the MINI or body colored. On the Clubman they have other options to mix and match the colors.

Both great looking cars! Good luck to your friend with his new MINI.

Mine is on order but not in production yet.

What a cool wrapper for the car. Is that an OEM cover from the dealer? I like all new Mini's especially the JCW.

That's wierd.... That's the same setup as my mini minus the wheels. When I installed the JCW kit, I installed the black grille trim and didn't like it.

Now that I see your friend's setup, it looks good.

Wierd, I say, wierd.....

Ended up putting the chrome back on....

Your friend's mini looks great with the black grille....

Mark

I will have to take some pictures since a couple of updates on the interior have been applied. Today was clear-bra day, same tech. who did mine a year ago, I hope he has perfected his installation.

Maybe pictures later this week of the inside. It's basic JCW with leatherette, chrome line and a couple special bits.

The cover is the dealer delivery cover, not available to the public, but if you know someone I imagine anything can be purchased for enough money.

Mr. U settled for the JCW cover, I have not seen him use it yet.

Mark, I like the chrome, but my MCSa is pretty plain by choice.
