F55/F56 2020 Digital Speedo?

I'm in Wall, NJ ... you want to come here with the kombi and your car i'll install and code it for you. I bought my KOMBI at minipartsdirect.com ... took a while to arrive as the inventory in USA is low and it had to be special ordered from Germany .... ~ $500 USD cost ... cheapest I could find online a few months ago when i did the upgrade

Hi Varma - your headunit needs to have MOST to use the digital instrument cluster.

@sunstarfire I am interested in doing this on my SE Countryman. Can you confirm that the tach is replaced with the silly energy monitor gauge? Also it was reported earlier in the thread that the SE and GP panels were glass and the others were matte screens. Is that the case?

I have also heard talk about the earlier digital clusters being glass, but the new one that I ordered from my dealer a couple months ago definitely has the matte finish on it.

Silly question: Is there anyone here who knows how this ESYS works and can give a description? I have Esys 3.33.4 and pszdata lite 4.27... do I need the launcher? Or is that all I need? I know I need the cable. Can someone give me (or point to) a step by step explanation on how to install and use this, and whether I need something else? I only find tons of forums who want signing up and money for the whole thing... Thanks.

LOGOs in 6WB Cluster as well as JCW HUD Coding:
With the help of forum member @ndal .... I think I have the complete setting changes (will test tonight when i have the car) you can make in ESYS (Still no support for the new KOMBI with Bimmercode as ECU doesn't even appear in list) to achieve the following LOGO changes and restore JCW HUD theme despite there being no CAFD Translation (Trimmed Function) when using ESYS Launcher for your EST Token Solution:
*** ALL BELOW TESTED and CONFIRMED ACCURATE 09-11-20 8:45am EST ***
JCW HUD Coding:
3003:
3003_30_30_1 ...... werte = 01
3003_30_30_2 ...... werte = 01
3003_30_30_4 ...... werte = 01
Be sure to code the following in your HU as well:
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_ENABLE ............................ werte=01
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_FES_ENABLE ................... werte=01
HUD_SPORTANZEIGE_MS_GASSE_ENABLE ...... werte=01

JCW Logo on 6WB Screen Coding:
3000:

3000_90_90_31 ....... werte = 11

Other valid werte's for 3000_90_90_31:
00 = No Logo @ Top of Screen
0B = eDrive Logo

Hi again Guys
Well, i figured out how to solve my psdz files problem in order tu run properly ESYS in my laptop.
After that, I uninstall the old kombi and put the new one, as you know a lot of warning lights pop up. I follow step by step (until line 22, if my understanding is correct; if you have a MOST connection yo don’t have to perform below that points)
everything was perfect, but 2 seconds after I hit the alarm button on the control and the car was locked, the alarm system starts to sound. on the other hand, when the car is automatically secured (without push any button on the remote control) there is no sound from the alarm system (even the acustical confirmation)
all this changes were made on a F57 s Hot chili 2017 model year
many thanks in advance with your help
PS sorry if my english sucks :P

Well... I fix it. It seems if you have the acoustical confirmation active and then you install the new kombi, somehow screws up the alarm. I reverse back to not active the acoustical confirmation and code it, and again I code it to active and my alarm is ok again. This happened to me on a F57 2017 model year. Hope this info helps you as reference. Thanks for the video and the detailed list to do this.

Is there anyone here who can explain what these values (3000_87_87) mean? Also, I think, the latest psdzdata and launchers do have the codes in there, so any pointers as to what to look for in order to get a JCW logo into the 6WB cluster?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Hello All - Hit a brick wall and am needing assistance please!
- 2015 Cooper S Hardtop w/ harmon headunit (larger screen, no tuch, Nav, no hud)
- esys: 3.33.4
- PSdzData Lite: 4.28.21 (only download I was able to find, via link the one working link in this thread)
- I did not have a MOST cable so I ran one from headunit to new kombi
- verified that the fiber is in fact functioning, can see the light
- verified the rest of the vehicle is functioning (i.e. headunit, other electronics)
- following instructions I get all of the way up till step 9 (find KOMBI in ECU tree)
- Kombi is missing. In fact, my ECU tree only has 15 different folders (noted by the [15] to the right of the tree's title
- The kombi in its current state threw a whole slew of errors on the center display and is not displaying my mileage/fuel level/anything accurately.

@msimon.wi , I can't offer you any help, but eagerly await someone offering you the solution you seek. If you get it outside this thread, please come back, and share it with us.
Honestly, I am wanting to do this myself. What makes me fearful, is that I still don't understand why my 2016 would have come from the factory with software/firmware installed for a feature (digital speedo/kombi) that will not even exist until several years later.

no reply yet, I will be posting in a few other places. Would love to have this work but if it just isn’t able, I’m really only out the time and few hundred the kombi cost.
I agree with your statement though!
