F55/F56 2020 Digital Speedo?

Your 2011 is an R56. This is only for third gen (F series) cars. There is no way to make this work with earlier generation MINIs.

Hi guys,
I upgraded my media package (small non-touch screen without nav) to ID5 with full screen CarPlay recently and ready for new digital dash project.
According to RealOEM.com, part# 62105A0E2C4 is for the US Mini (MPH with/without HUD). Can anyone confirm the part# if it's correct and where I can get it cheaper (I've seen as low as $550 for a KMH version)?
Also it looks like I need a coding after install. If you guys have any recommendations for solid coder who can remotely code, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!

Finally I it's installed on my 2015 F56S.
Special thanks to @sb2002. He helped me from my ID5 CarPlay install and saw my post here and helped me with the part finding and coding recommendation.
I've in car forums for long time with a lot of M cars and Porsches but I've never experienced this sport from a forum member. My Mini is old (2015) but now I have ID5 touchscreen nav with CarPlay and digital dash. Feels almost new car now.

yes i did, any even more options but they do not seem to work.
i also notice that his old cluster only had 1 cable.
So a block, with a lot of wires. And nothing more.
My own mini had 3, the block, a black cable with a blue connector and the MOST cable.
Now he has 2, because I added the MOST. But i’am not sure if i/he needs the cable with the blue connector.

Hi there,Today I have been installing a 6WB cluster in an F56.
It does not have a HUD, but it does and HU_NBT with MOST capability.
After connecting the MOST cable, I started coding.
After coding (everything done as it should) I found out that I can change the time and date, but it is not displayed in the HU and also not in the 6WB. The trip information is also not included in the 6WB.
What I also cannot manage is the navi screen in the cluster or the radio information.
Who can help me?

Hi !
I want to install new digital speedo on F56 2016 without HUD.
I have ESYS Launcher Pro 2.8.1 BFU_XODE edition with Esys 3.27.1.
Is this possible with these versions ?
I can't launch ESYS 3.33.4 with the launcher because it's esys unsupported version.
Somebody can help me ?
Thank you very much

Unclip the optic fibre from the cable at the end of Speedometer and arrange the Light emitting part in reverse direction, with the light emitting part closer to the clip, put back the clip and reconnect the plug to the digital speedo. This problem could be due to a badly arranged Optic fibre cable. You can try this trick and see if the ECU will now read the Kombi after this corrective step. I faced this problem and it was solved this way.You can also do this step at the HeadUnit end where the MOST cable originates.
I tried that and I still don't see the Kombi in the ECU list. I reversed the pins on the HU side. any ideas?
I retrofitted the NBT with the 8.8" screen. Currently navigation is not present since when I bought the NBT it wasn't coded for my VIN, after coding it the FSC for the donor car was disabled and the Navigation icon is not showing up anymore. Not sure if this is the issue.
Thanks

then you won’t see KOMBI in the tree until you physically install it, add most cable and code the HU_NBT or HU_NBT2 correctly to have it pass the data over MOST.
NBT should be almost free at this point used online for a non touch 8.8 CID and you don’t have to buy the touch controller… you can keep the orange **** you have with NBT. There are also very good aftermarket wireless CarPlay adapters you can add on to the NBT so unless you find a great deal on the EVO (NBT2) … you should be able to get a better deal on NBT.

1. does Navigation has to be enabled for the KOMBI to show up?
2. how do I code the HU_NBT to correctly send data over MOST?
Thanks for your help

Parking brake indicator malfunction
All done
Worked as expected. I just needed to update my ESYS and psdzdata configuration. I was previously told that "Detect CAFD for SWE" function only worked with ESYS 3.27.1 and psdzdata 4.17.20. This is correct for that version of ESYS, however since we need the updated CAFDs and SWFLs for this GP3 KOMBI, I was successful in using ESYS 3.33.4 and psdzdata lite 4.24.31.
Steps for coding are as follows:
1. uninstall old kombi
2. install new kombi
3. Fire up ESYS 3.33.4 paired with psdzdata lite 4.24.31 in Expert --> Coding mode
4. Connect for F56 Project via Gateway connection
5. Read FA
6. Save FA
7. Edit FA
8. Change Zeitkriterium=0320
9. Edit SALAPA-Element
10. Add 6WB in appropriate alpha-numeric order to existing codes
11. Right-Click on FA at top of tree and click Calculate FP
12. Hit Save Icon
13. Hit Back Icon
14. Anser "Yes" to popup window asing to reload the file in module Coding
15. Right-Click FA and click Activate
16. Read ECU
17. Find "KOMBI" in ECU tree, left-click on it 1x
18. Hit Detect CAFD for SWE button
19. Click the CAFD under the ISTEP that matches the iSTEP of your vehicle
20. Back to ECU tree --> Left-Click on KOMBI ECU
21. Click CODE button, wait for completion and success message
22. Close ESYS
23. Fire-Up ESYS (with ESYS launcher if you haven't used this originally to start ESYS)
24. Perform FDL coding as necessary on your HU to ensure that the following are set as below:
KOMBI_CIC: set to kombi high
EXTERNER_MOST: set to aktiv
25. Enjoy your new GP3 Digital KOMBI
Everything is working as expected on my 2015 (11/2014 build date) F55 Cooper S 4-door Hardtop with NBT EVO retrofit. GP3 6WB KOMBI works perfectly fine on pre-LCI F55 models as this was a previous question in the thread above. Ignore the red triangle in the image ... i have hood open as the car is on a battery tender in the garage all the time as we don't drive it often.

Thanks for the info. I installed the NBT with no Touch 8.8 screen and iDrive. I followed the instructions, but KOMBI is not showing up in the ECU tree. I connect the MOST cable and looks like it's working, since one of the 2 cables is lighting up. When I coded the NBT to my VIN the navigation icon disappeared, I think it overwritten the FSC codes and disabled the navi.
1. does Navigation has to be enabled for the KOMBI to show up?
2. how do I code the HU_NBT to correctly send data over MOST?
Thanks for your help

I retrofitted the digital cluster to my F57 a while ago, almost a year it must be. My F57 is a weekend car and we’ve been living in a temporary place for almost a year now, and the MINI has largely been in storage that whole time. I recently drove it and I was reminded that there are two odd things about the cluster/infotainment since the retrofit. Namely, I cannot save any favorites to the buttons. I save them and then the next time I turn the car on the favorites are gone. Two, I cannot reset the Openometer (tracks how long the top is down on the convertible). Anyone ever see these two issues? Any fixes??
