Rear fog lights

Has anyone been able to activate the rear fog lights on a 2019 F55? It appears that the lights are there, but there's a filler where the button should be. Wondering if replacing the switch with one with both buttons would work.

Search for Bimmercode, lots of info on coding needed with new switch or using as extra brake light.

I believe you need a different switch panel & then the dealer $$$ can program the fog light option on.
Meanwhile, the fog lights may be acting as additional brake lights.

No, the dealer will NOT program anything that is not on the VO.

Buy the switch, and use Bimmercode to program it.

Thanks for the input

Checking with my former "advisor" agrees that it's possible but as previously stated MINI dealers won't do the programming. Now to see about getting the reader/programmer. I've seen the switch online

Go to realoem.com
find your car, find headlight switches, find the one that matches yours but has the rear fog button.
Thats the number you need.

Buy BimmerCode for either IPhone or Android.
Buy the interface recommended on the BimmerCode site. Those are the ones he tests.

Alright, I need help. I have downloaded the Bimmercode app. Waiting on the programming module. Where do I find the option for the rear fog lights as brake lights? Does anyone know the proper steps, in order, so I don't mess anything up? All help is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Not to be rude.
But do a search while spelling brake properly.
Not break.
