Dinan $300 tuner for 2015 Mini Cooper, worth it?

Hello all,

I am loving my 2015 cooper 1.5L gas 6 speed manual. Pulls like a mini train, smooth turbo and great trans. About as fast as my 2006 R53, almost...

Thinking about adding the dinana tuner for $300 for some simple more power. I can't really find any reviews of people who used it besides for the cooper S.

Dinan Sports Performance Tuner

Anyone have any thoughts if it is worth it on a regular cooper? It's got stock everything else and great tires.

I have no experience with the product. The site you linked to says maximum 20hp gains with 2014-16 Mini Cooper (with 1.5L B36/B38 engine). “DINANTRONICS Sport Maximum Gains (B38): Up to20 HP, 40 lb-ft of torque.”

I’m aware it says that. Little more HP but a fair amount of extra torque. I’m looking to see someone. Anyone. Has used this on a non S cooper.

Most of the reviews are good, lots of people like them. Every once in a while they had a bad unit, but that was in the beginning or people install it wrong. D440-0012

the 1.5 3 banger in this thing honestly impresses me.

100% worth the cost for anyone interested. I really don’t regret buying the Cooper over the Cooper S with this. The Cooper Is somehow more fun around town than the sheer power of the S that would get me into trouble likely very quickly.
