I got the intake on July 20th and installed it on my 2018 MCS Seven Edition.
A few notes:
1. Fitment was really tight on my 2018...that's a good thing.
2. Instructions could have been better. Clear as mud. They are working on redoing the instructions.
3. Some of the brackets had to be bent to fit better especially the bottom bracket that fits into the white grommet. Fits good now.
4. The side black bracket was not fixed to the side of the bottom half of the intake. I was able to make it work. This was my mistake...ooops
Extra holes? What are they for? They are for the variable valve version. The holes are normal.

Reason: Update
That’s the OEM rubber/plastic flexible section that you’re looking at. Shouldn’t cause a problem, although I don’t remember my strut bar touching the hose.
Spoke with the USA distributor. Very quick to respond and got all the questions answered quickly from the manufacturer. Nice guy.
So far I like this setup. Seems a bit quicker on throttle response and the slight increase in sound is just right. I like that the filter is the dry kind so all I have to do is wash it every 10k, dry, reinstall.
