Need a lot of help ASAP

Hey y'all,

So I did something really stupid and bought a set of JCW Cross Spoke wheels from someone on facebook who bought them for his F56S before he sold it. Well here comes the stupid part, I didn't do my research well enough until now that I'm looking into the BBK for my F55S and have confirmed today via the part number on the inside of the wheels I bought and have mounted on my car that they won't clear the BBK. So here comes my plea for help, has anyone gone aftermarket on their JCW F5X and have factory JCW Cross Spoke wheels that they would be willing to trade me? I work at a discount tire and can do all of the dismounting and remounting but I don't want to try and sell these wheels and go spend more money to have to order the correct ones or even go aftermarket myself if someone on here would be willing to help me out. The wheels are immaculate and only have roughly 3,000 miles on them (2,000 from him and another 1,000 from me). I'm not looking for anything other then the wheels with part number 36116855102 as reference.

Much Gratitude in advance,

I'm refusing to run spacers due to the fact that I will lose my wheel lock. Living in Austin, I've had friends lose all their wheels due to having no wheel locks and I don't feel like coming out one day to go to work and seeing my car on blocks

What Marco said + spacers on the back, too. You'll be happier with the straight spokes as opposed to the concave JCW's.

If you were local, I would take your offer. Mine are brand new.

Wheel locks won't stop thieves who want your wheels.

Where are you located? I don't think you quite understand how desperate I am lol. I'm willing to break down the assemblies just to swap wheels plus possibly throw in some sort of incentive.

They will for most thieves.

Don't they sell longer bolts with wheel locks? Or you could convert to studs. I'd agree with the spacer route. How much clearance do you need? You may not even need different bolts if it's just a few mm.

adding spacers isn't really an option if he wants to retain his wheel locks. Also living near Austin I can attest to the need for wheel locks.

if you decide to go aftermarket look at my thread for autox/track guys

I went to a speedshop and had the wheel wells rolled to fit my tires and wheels. You may want to take the car to a local speed shop and have them look at it. Google is your friend here......

Honestly, I have never heard of someone having their wheels stolen in real life... But I live in a city of 7000 people where total strangers still wave to me as I drive down Main street and it is like an episode of "Leave it to Beaver"... So we don't have too much of the big city riffraff here...

Guess that proves "wheel locks" work!

Same here, but I grew up in Los Angeles and currently live in San Diego -- with St Louis and Madison, WI in between -- and I've never had my wheels stolen or have had friends that have had them taken.

Alternative idea: do you really need a BBK? Seems like a lot of hassle.

I came home one night with my Dad's truck on blocks.

They came back later and stole the spare.

Don't live near a high school.

Stealing your wheels takes a-lot longer than stealing your car. Do wheels really disappear that much in your area or have you been gadget brainwashed by the advertisers into believeing you "need" wheel locks?

If you're still looking I have a set of black JCW Track spokes that I am not using. They're just sitting in my garage. for a fair price and shipping you can take them.

OOOOOOH serious dilemma about a wheel lock. If you are afraid of losing your lox why don't you use a single stud with a puzzle nut on all 4 corners. Easy.
