I was just specing out my next ( ) Mini, so I was thinking a JCW in Rebel Green with a chili red roof and JCW mirrors. What do y'all think of that color combo?

 

I like green and white better only because it is a little too Christmasy for me with the green and red, but that is just me sorry. Maybe it is just the build tool, I would like to see a picture of a real car with that combo.

 

You gotta remember the JCW bonnet stripes. Makes a big diff.

 

I think it would look awesome! The rebel green is really, really dark so I don't think it would look Christmasy.

 

Sounds like a good combo to me.

There's a new one at Vista MINI in South Florida that has a major price cut I believe somewhere around $4k off if you're interested, it's an Auto though and has the JCW cloth recaros and it's a 2015, besides that it's well loaded and makes a $40k car come out to $36k

 

OK I stand corrected it was the build tool that made it look like the Christmas car, needs stripes

 

Our next Mini is likely to be that exact color combo......soooooo, an "Aye" vote from me.

 

There's a nice youtube video of a RG/CR JCW on the twisties from all shots, including aerial shots. My wife swore that car was "black". I told her it was Rebel Green...she hadn't heard of that color. She liked it, but in the end I think she preferred Black/CR, since my JCW is Black all over....she asked my why I didn't get a red roof? I told her it wasn't stealth enough for me. Police love "ticket me RED"!

From my perspective, I think the RG/CR combo looks very nice, but I wouldn't get the sunroof...just a solid red roof! Would look sweet imo, if that's the way you want to go...and definitely get the JCW bonnet stripes!

That's the stock JCW cloth interior. It's not really that bad, although I prefer the dinamica leather/red trimmed JCW sport seats. This car was evidently a trade in. Probably a pretty good deal for the right person (who wants the automatic). Funny thing, the ad says the car has JCW bonnet stripes! Don't see those...ha!
