Time for the 2nd Doctor's visit...

She's going in for an oil change and check-up with 24K miles. The sensor told me it's time. I obviously don't believe in changing my oil every 4/7/whatever K miles.

I've also asked them to check:

-gel pack leak from rear view mirror

-driver's door lock push button takes too many times

-slow leak in driver's side rear tire

Other than than the above, the car has been running faultlessly. Well, except for the time I backed into a rock and put a hole in the rear fender

The only thing I'd like to change on the car is the driver's seat. The wing backs are too narrow for me and driving long distances can get uncomfortable. I'm going to look for as replacement seat or maybe lose 40 lbs.

Gave me a chuckle. I vote for the later choice, did wonders for my back and driving experience, cheaper as well. Less food costs and no money spent on new seats.

FWIW, I believe the 2015 sport seats are wider or you could always go for the standard seats...

Is there something leaking down the windshield from your rear view mirror mount?

I noticed recently I have the same issue. A small amount of fluid leaking from the rear view mirror mount. Any update on this? I will mention it to the dealer next time it is in.

Yes. I've read elsewhere on here there is a gel pack inside the lump that mates to the windshield. Others have had to have it replaced.

I'm due in a couple of weeks for my first oil change (one year). I only have 7,040 miles of the car. No issues to tell dealer about, which is a plus.

CB, my MCS came in a few weeks after yours, and I have a bit more than 7k on it. Had my oil changed at about 1500 miles, and I got my 2nd oil change today, a no-charge change.

I've had them try to stop the squeak in the driver's door twice before, and today they applied some Armor-All type stuff to the the window seal for that door. Seems to me that's just a band aid, but the squeak did stop. My biggest problem is the hatch struts need to be replaced -- parts on order.

I guess I'm pretty lucky.
