NM-ENG Power Module

So NM Eng have come out with the version of the Power Module.

From the looks of it, it is very similar to the burgertuning.

NN is more expensive by about $20 Bucks.

Definitely looks a lot cleaner than the the BT, though the BT is still technically beta...

Their dyno results say their test car had a NM exhaust and intake. I wonder what the numbers would be with a stock S...

Nice kit. Nice that there is a another choice if you want to go with a "stealth tune".

It shouldn't matter, I know, but... that's beautiful. I feel the love they put into it. Someone please dyno both!

I will start this by making it clear that I'm a mechanical moron :-)

With that said, a couple of observations and questions:
- The Burger tune plugs into both the MAP and TMAP sensors, while the NM tune seems to only plug into the TMAP sensor.
- Why the difference?

Also - in looking at the Burger tune, the cable has 4 sets of plugs yet the instructions seem to have you only using 2 of the 4 sets (MAP and TMAP). What are the extra sets of plugs used for?

I asked that too when I installed my BT, and was told the system can be used on other cars and they're the ones that use the extra connectors. They didn't say that in the instructions (that I could find) which was very confusing during the install.

BM has a version for the base and the S. NM doesn't specify, that I can tell, what version their tune is for.

You can't lose either way. Some dude put a BT on an R56 JCW, put the dial on 30%, and he said the thing took off like a rocket lol. I'd be afraid to use one of those. I don't get that many opportunities to open my car up as it is.
