I"m afraid to get one for my car lol. One guy with a JCW did get one though. Said it was even faster and they tell you to dial it back to 40%.

You can get a ton of info and feedback from a few others who have it here in this thread. I have it on my S and love it.

This right here. I had to punch it on the freeway to get around some head in the sand drivers this morning, and even stock, my MCS made me go 'holy ****'. Hitting boost at only 1250rpm (even more noticeable in sport mode) gets you into speeding ticket territory very quickly.

Mine went into limp mode twice now while in sport after some spirited driving. Not sure if it is some difference in the 15's programing or what but shows a drive train malfunction in the center ring. Stop restart and it's fine but unnerving.

Does it happened on a sudden wide open throttle?

I'd remove the tuner and see if the behavior continues. If not, contact BMS and see what they tell you.

Please keep us posted. With the rev match change, anything is possible in terms of electronic differences. Am about to buy the BMS but will wait for your results.

Had our techs check out the car they see nothing wrong. BMS wants me to remove the tuner and send it back for them to check out but heading down to Fort Myers for a weeks vacation so its going to have to wait till I get back. Only happens in sport so far and only after its good and warm once was under throttle other two times it was ideling after some spirited driving. Shut the car off and restart and its back to normal.

Sounds to me as the TMAP sensor defect.
I saw that happened a few times, happened in my 528i and couple of my friends BMW's.
After the dealer replaced the TMAP sensor under warranty, everything is fine.

Last I heard on yours you had a drive train stability fault. Since that doesn't run through the DME we're not sure how it can be JB related (other than just from making more power), and no one else has reported it, but it is a BETA product, so anything is possible. Send it in and we'll check it out. Perhaps a firmware change will be needed on the JB end if MINI changed something on their programming end of things.

Also, it's spelled Burger.

I threw a B48 Stage I on my B46 F56 MCS earlier this week. You're not kidding about the big grins this thing brings about.

It's also throwing a similar chassis stability warning that throws it into limp mode. Sorry for the typo on the name. And they made a bunch of ECU changes on the 2015 as they added the throttle nip and several other things according to our techs. So far it's only happened in Sport mode.

There is a bulletin out on the 2015's to recalibrate the torque control system...seems to have fixed my issues with the tune so far. Tech Said the extra boost along with issue was causing me to hit limp mode. About to take a trip to Florida so fingers crossed.

No worries. I'm not that active on the forums so just be sure to email me any updates, and if you send the unit in I'll go through some testing on it here and get back to you via email. A quick test might be to remove it for a few days to see if the error reoccurs. If you have the BMS USB cable you can also adjust the strength of the tune. So maybe taking it to half strength or tuning it off all together via software might be a good test. To further isolate things.

I'll just quickly add my thoughts here as I've had the JB stage 1 for about a week now on my B38. It definitely is quicker...I'd say very close to an R56 Cooper S. Doesn't totally "wow" me, but pretty impressive for a 1.5L 3 cylinder if you ask me!

One thing that it does not do like a full tune would is alter the boost curve. The boost behavior on the factory mapping is somewhat annoying and inconsistent in my opinion. Increase the boost while still on the factory mapping, it is even more apparent. Not a fault of the JB...just how the factory software is.
