F55/F56 Week 27 build -- this is your status thread!
Did a road trip for work today, almost 500 miles. About a dozen miles in the city, maybe 30 on roads with 45-55mph limits and red lights, and the rest on the interstate at 65-70mph.
I filled it before starting the trip and reset the mpg-ometer. The computer showed 43.0 when I filled up at 399.4 miles and it took a measly 9.3 gallons. That's an honest to goodness real world 42.9mpg!!!!! (Manual MCS)
Good thing the EPA straightened out Mini and had them put that 34 on the window!

Picked up my car yesterday (love it) and put about 150 miles on it. So far I am getting about 38mpg and that mixed driving in MID mode.
Side note: anyone notice the little MINI on the display that winks at you when you open the door? I thought that was a nice touch.
Dealer is still saying 7 days out, as of Monday. OL still says En Route, not even at the VDC yet.
I don't know how you guys managed to deal with this for months on end. I've been going crazy and I only put my order in at the end of August! :P

Ordered August 24th, picked up this morning. Much quicker than I expected, and thankfully I avoided most of the EPA delay and backlog.
2015 Cooper S Hardtop, just about every single option, manual transmission. Loving every minute of it!
Will post more pics later on.

Congratulations!
I have a delivery date! Today my OL finally updated to @VDC, with a delivery date of 11/1. Of course, that's the day I'll be out of town for my anniversary, so I'll probably pick her up on 11/2, assuming there are no further delays. The end is near!
Maybe we drive more enthusiastically than we thought
I'm sorry, I'm not buying the 42 MPG story with an MCS. 34 yes, 42 no. I don't care what mode they drive in. If somebody's claiming to get >40 mpg maybe they got a Justa!
Maybe they are lucky to be able to get 0% ethanol gas. In my Elantra, 10% ethanol decreased gas mileage 10%.
Up to almost 300 miles, and very happy. Only averaging about 28mpg right now, but there has been a fair bit of city driving recently. Hoping as I settle back into my commute that the mpg will get up above 30ish.
I got an actual 42.9 mpg with my manual MCS over 400 miles. 70mph for a couple hours, 65 for about an hour and the rest was below 55 with some red lights.
I have about 1400 miles right now, running about 32 on the computer, and about 33 to 34 calculated. That's mostly up and down twisties, though--just got back from MINIs In The Ozarks.
I only ever use Mid and Sport modes and yes this was calculated based on the actual amount of gas I put it to go those miles. Also the computer was reading 43.0 when I pulled into the station and calculated to just over 42.9.
Green mode doesn't do much on a manual since you still control the shift points and you can't coast. I guess it has the weaker climate control but I wasn't using the AC anyways.

I've only put about 800mi on so far, so I doubt its broken in yet.
I think I got about 38 US MPGs.
3-Cyl.
My drive to work is 30 minutes at 40mph.
My drive home is 25 minutes at 30mph with a few more lights.
Sometimes in green, mostly mid.
There are no hills for a hundred miles, just a few overpasses.

Sounds like you are on the WWL Figaro, due in to NY (NJ) on February 10. Callsign SMIO. Check out 2wglobal if you like.
Any thoughts on how much longer before it gets to the dealer's location?
Good luck with it !
