Summer tires not available?

Can those of you that have taken delivery tell me what tires you have? I ordered my mini without all seasons and is still be delivered with them, even after making sure that they weren't anywhere on my order stuff. My Mini should be coming to my dealer tomorrow and upon viewing the options my car has on the owners lounge tracking website, it says all seasons are equipped. I asked my MA about it and she said that's the only tire you can get, and there's no way to include summer tires in the order. When you build it online, you have to select all seasons under the wheel options, if you want them.

If it was fall in heavy winter country I might buy it, but not now. I'd ask the sales manager to swap the tires to what you ordered.

I did not opt for the All-Seasons and an anxious to know that it'll be fitted with. All reports I've heard have been the Pirelli AS in 17" and a Hankook in 16"

I ordered the optional 18" wheel package.

There are no all season tires with the 18" wheel & tire package.

Yeah the 18s I'm aware of. I was wondering about the 17s that I got. I took delivery of my car today anyway and the sales manager said that it kind of defaults to all seasons if you don't even select them. Because they have to specifically select summer tires in the ordering system. I'm over it at this point, just enjoying every bit of my car and will still get a pair of 16s with winter tires.

Exactly what I did, paid the $50 for the Perf Tires. Well worth it, not a great fan of A/Seasons (should be called No Seasons).

Your doing the right thing IMHO.

Moving on and simply enjoying your new 2014 Machine.

I like the bigger wheels that's why I went with the 18".

Also I saw they only came with Summer-Performance-Tires.

I live in Franklin, TN. and here our winters are not that extreme normally.

16" Hankook Kinergy Eco (on Cooper)
