Online Configurator is up and running for F56

interesting to see that run flat tires on the S model are option 140 pounds does that mean that run flats wont be stock on the S anymore?
Also looks like multi function steering wheel is not standard anymore. I'm assuming this will stay the same for North America.

The UK options have always been different from the US ones, usually with less standard equipment.
Interesting there's an option for white wheels again, I miss that option. Though its only in 18" wheels.

Has anyone configured one on that site? It asks me for a UN/PW otherwise I can mainly see the brochure. I also looked on the European Mini site and nobody there had even ordered one as of about 2 weeks ago. Go figure!
I configured one. Loaded up an S with AT, both packages, HK, NAV (in pkg), HUD, damper control, LED. $26,000 pounds, but that includes 20% VAT. So that's $34,320 USD before and $37,200 including tax (8.3% here). That doesn't sound much more than my 2007 that cost $35k with tax. I don't have NAV and HUD and the suspension control. Sounds encouraging to me.
Does anyone have the 2013 UK pricing as a comparison? I think that would be the best way of knowing what adjustments have been made on the MSRP

And WOW, more expensive! Came out to nearly $10,000 more than my US r56 build. I really hope they haven't raised prices that much when it comes out here!
yep it's up on the us website

looks like the base cooper is listed at 70lbs heavier, with basically the same weight distribution.. and no mpg figures yet

Surprised to see that formerly standard options now are extra, particularly paddle shifters and roof spoiler.
Definitely a lot of extra gizmos now. I'll be curious to hear which are worth it and which aren't once people start taking delivery.
