Driving Rally Lights Install
Help....I searched but didn't find my answer.
I am installing LED Rally Lights from Mini with LED interface as I have LED headlights. I installed everything yesterday and cant seem to get them to work. I double checked my wiring and it all seems ok so far. The button lights up and when I click it and when I put my high beams on nothing happens.
The install instructions that I am using are from Mini and are dated 7/2017.

The instructions that I am using from 7/2017 state the following:
Connect branch A9, GR cable, with miniature connector
S to the cable from PIN 4 of plug A258*4B on the
BDC A258
Is the above incorrect and the A9 GR cable needs to connect to Pin #20?

Okay after many hours...they work! The instructions I have dated from 7/2017 are correct. I had my wires reversed in the following step:
Only cars with SA 5A2 or SA 5A4
Connect wiring harness interface N as follows to
BDC A258:
– Branch N2, GN/BL cable, with miniature connector
O to the cable from PIN 44 of plug A258*8B
– Branch N3, GN cable, with miniature connector
O to the cable from PIN 43 of plug A258*8B
Only cars with SA 5A2 or SA 5A4
Connect wiring harness interface N as follows to
BDC A258:
– Branch N2, GN/BL cable, with miniature connector
O to the cable from PIN 44 of plug A258*8B
– Branch N3, GN cable, with miniature connector
O to the cable from PIN 43 of plug A258*8B

Just saw this, ok, so they were swapped. Glad you got it now, knew it had to be something mixed up.

I had the same issue when I installed my wife’s set, mine ended up being a had one wire hooked up wrong

Gotta question - got all of the wires run - tried the lights - no go - not a LED car
Which color wire connects to A9 the gray wire on the lighting harness that connects to BOD 258*4B - at pin 4 - which color wire does it connect to
and what color wire connects to A10 the Gray/Red wire from the lighting harness that connects to BOD 258*2B - at pin 41 - which color wire does it connect to
A-11 is not used since it's for LED use
The rest is simple plug/play except i'm not sure I tied the lights into the right wires on the BOD
Any suggestions
