Picked up a set of bi-xenons in the marketplace here on NAM. Installed, and coded them operational myself with A FREAKING TON of research into NCSExpert/etc.

I'd appreciate information on what you did to get it to work. I bought some xenon OEM headlights for my halogen equipped R53.

 

Apparently the OP isn't going to tell us what he did to get them working....

Actually did a Countryman today as the customer bought used headlights instead of the retrofit kit.

Ok, so this was me. I've avoided this thread because I cannot for the LIFE of me remember how in the hell I did it. I spent HOURS on the laptop, in the car and out, modifying and loading NCS information. I apologize for not completing this for others, but I just cannot remember what in the hell I did. Since then my countryman was totaled by an idiot who rear ended me while eating oatmeal. Now my R61 has HIDS.

I've followed instructions provided on this thread and made modifications only to the headlamp https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...to-finish.html

My lights stay on with the key but shut down in about 10 seconds once I start the engine. I'm trying to determine if it is coding or if I need to make additional wiring adjustments as indicated by https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post4236439

Do you remember having to make wiring modifications on the headlamp near the ballast?
