Electrical Countryman-Specific Coding - R60 Guide
So what cable is everyone using? Anything from ebay will work? If there is a specific cable that is working for you please share..
Anyone tried the light sensitivity setting in the RLS module?
It would seem that changing :
DEF_FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ - to Wert_03
&
FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ - to Wert_03
would reduce the sensitivity.
Also
KONFIG_RLS_REGEN - Switch on headlights when raining
nicht_activ
KONFIG_RLS_GESCHW - Switch on headlights at high speeds
nicht_activ
Please refer to conger's post

*warning, this is for R56, use at your own risk.

Need more free time, here!
I thought tempering with the coding already consider as a risk. I tried on my car, the sensitivity does dial down. I drove through street with building shadows/shades will not trigger the auto headlight like it used to.
PS. Original setting is at Wert_01 which is high sensitive.

Haven't been on here in a while, but I'm in Costa Mesa and I've coded what you are looking to get done on my 2013. If you still need help then PM me and I can help you out.
That was covered earlier. IIRC, the folding mirrors are not actuated by any of the control modules so settings changes do not exist for this.
Hi,
at the moment i´m converting my Countryman JCW into a Rallyecar (not for road use).
1. I now have replaced the Steeringwheel for a better one.
Problem: I now got a error (on the rev counter display) for the missing Cruise Control and Audio/Phone Control Switches from the Original Steeringwheel.
Question: How can i disable/decode the Cruise Control and/or the Multimedia-Steeringwheel ??
2. After reconnecting the Battery i got a warning (on the rev counter display) to set the actuall time/date onto the system.
Problem: Multimedia System completley removed from the car (Display, CD-Unit, i-drive switches), so i cannot set on the normal way
Question: How can i set the time or disable the warning ??

A few questions
- How similar are these commands to the R61 paceman?
- Where can I get more technical information about the file formats, coding, about this process? I am an EE, so if any body wants hit me with the most technical resource, please do.
- Is it possible to enable the PDC (parking distance control) on the navigation screen with coding? There is a retrofit kit but requires a dealer software modifcation.
Thanks for maintaining this thread, went out and got a little used Samsung Netbook for $100 that runs XP, and the cable on ebay. and went thru the first try, works flawlessly. The instruction were specific and down to the point.
went thru the CAS setting, gonna work on the rest tomorrow.
Now I love mine Mini even more, it's all those little things that count!!!
but it's so stupid that why the manufacture does not code them like that to begin with?? Just want to say thank you!!

I was able to code thru CAS, SHD, SPEG, and when I got to KOMBI module, for some reason after I coded, the Tacho display is not working any more? and trunk open sign came on in the MpH display in tach, and above the mileage, 2 seats looking thing came on? and the tach is not working as well? not sure what I had done wrong? I only change the

that's it?
I have a 2011 CM s ALL4, and using the V41 update to code, I'm wondering if it actually have a higher than V41, so it actually turn off a few things instead? I've attached the KOMBI FSW_PSW.MAN file, so y'all can see if something was turn off causing the tach not working??

NVM, trace back to what I did, and decide to update all the Daten, sgdat, and ecu files to V46, and code it the KOMBI again, and everything is restore back to normal. so turn out i have a later version than V41, just need to do a little updating.

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has trying adding option code 8KL to their MINI?
It's the option code for making sure the computer calculates a shortal interval between oil changes? And if so can anybody help guide me on how to do that? Is the process the same using ncsexpert?
Thanks for the help.
