gjn25,

I live in So. Fla. (Palm Bch Gdns) and I'm a programmer. However, this coding is foreign to me, too. If anyone contacts you offering help, would you please let me know? I would like to participate and may be able to help in some ways....

Thanks,

Here is the spreadsheet , you need to request to view it (please do not edit randomly afterwards) and I will allow you view/edit it.

FIY,be sure to know what you are doing,if you are not sure, click back here, check the step, you can really mess up your car if you code over the wrong modules.
can I please have access to the spreadsheet? I am sure this is a dum question, but my clubman is under warranty...would mini actually look at the coding changes if the car is in for warranty or covered services?

I think I gave you access already, didnt I ?
As for the warranty, I do no see why they would revoke it, these options are already here, you are just activating them

It is hard to know who gets the access, most ppl have different email address than their names on this forum. You will have access within 5hrs of your request as I sometimes am not near a computer.
Enjoy

Maybe we could use Private Messaging for the spreadsheet so we don't pile a bunch of requests onto this thread? GTECKO? Ok with you?

Definitely
Iam usually pretty quick in giving the access, like I said, the longest someone had to wait was probably when I was sleeping

anyone who waited more than 5hrs(yes sometimes iam away from my computer) please send me a private message with the email adress you want to request from.

thanks all !!

PS: SO I WAS CHECKING THE SPREADSHEET REVISIONS AND I SEE SOME PPL ERASING DESCRIPTIONS AND FORMULA STRINGS -I HAVE ASKED BEFORE NOT TO EDIT RANDOMLY THE SPREADSHEET ESPECIALLY IF IT IS NOT TO EDIT SOMETHING USEFUL
LATEST PERSON IS SMARCO111, I DONT KNOW IF YOU DID IT ON PURPOSE BUT YOU ERASED STUFF ON THE SPREADSHEET AND LEFT IT BLANK.
IT IS NOT COOL TO SEE STUFF GOING MISSING FOR NO REASON, I WILL KEEP ON EYE ON THIS MORE CLOSELY NOW.
I REALLY DONT WANT TO LOCK THE SPREADSHEET FROM EDITING AS I WANT PPL TO BE ABLE TO ADD THEIR DISCOVERIES.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL ...

Hi coders,

Looking for two items:

1. A list of what the abbreviations mean for the Modules. CAS, FRM etc.

2. How to turn off the Legal Disclaimer on 2011 with connected? Which Module and setting.

Thanks!!

Here's a mostly complete list of possible modules. You may or may not have everything listed (depending on your car's options).

2MULF - Bluetooth/USB module
2RAD - Radio Module
4BMOT - Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
ABG - Airbag Module
AHM - Trailer Module
AMPH - Hi-Fi Amplifier
CAPPL - Navigation Module
CAS - Car Access System
CCC - Car Communication Computer
CID - Central Information Display
DDE - Digital Diesel Electronics
DSC - Dynamic Stability Control
EGS - Electronic Transmission Control
EPS - Electromechanical Power Steering
FRM - Footwell Module (lighting / window controls)
IHKA - Integrated Automatic Heating/Cooling System
IHKS - Integrated Heating/Cooling System
IHS - Integrated Heater Control
KOMBI - Instrument Cluster
MJOY - MINI joystick
PDC - Park Distance Control
PGS - Passive Go System
RLS - Rain-Light Sensor
SHD - Sunroof Module
SPEG - System Power Electronics Gateway (fuse box "brains")
SZL - Steering Column Switch Cluster

If I had to guess, I'd said yes - you can retrofit it. I've seen no indication that there are any extra modules to support this function.

All you should have to do is add option $550 (ON-BOARD COMPUTER) to your vehicle order string (in the CAS and FRM modules) and then "Process Car" in NCS Expert. It should default all the modules and activate the function.

Give it a shot and let us know!

If you don't have NAV you can give this a quick try by changing this setting in the RAD module trace file:

CAR_COMP_ACTIVE
aktiv

I don't have access to any of my trace files at the moment since I'm at work so I have to ask if anyone has looked for the option to activate the satellite radio? I'm guessing it'll be in the 2RAD module.

Yes you can activate the SDARS in the 2RAD! However, modifying the Vehicle Order is a much better way do it as Chernobyl described above. Option code $655

This post will help you out!

What I recommend is experiement with the trace files, then when you know it works fine, then modify the VO. If you don't modify the VO before your car gets connected to ISTA/P at the dealer, the car will give errors on their system since it will find the sat tuner without it being in the VO.
