A little birdie told me today that one of our EIM families will be welcoming yet another Countryman All4 into the fold in the not-too-distant future. 
Probably the first custom order for one thru MoDM. But that's all you get from me.

Countryman ALL4 Order
We're the little birdie Gil-galad mentioned. I do believe we are the first custom order at MoDM as it took a little effort to get the order to go through. I wasn't able to order what was possible to configure on the website.....so be flexible.
Don't have a build date yet, but will post when I know more. We ordered: all Light White ALL4, graphite wheels, surf blue color line, cold weather and convenience packages, auto A/C, split rail, chrome line interior, piano black.

Like I imagine many of you are, I am having some serious MINI withdrawals! 
This weather and the road conditions are just not MINI friendly. I am reduced to driving our S10 4X4. On the positive side the snow tires and 4 wheel drive ensures that the vehicle actually goes in the direction I point it! Not so much in Gozer 
Thankfully I received my MC2 magazine to peruse while I dream of better driving conditions. With the help of this forum and the anticipation of the opening of MODM I may survive the dark days of motoring sans MINI.
Safe driving to all whether you are in your MINIs or some other ordinary car!

Hurray! The roads are clear and I have high hopes of driving through a car wash and getting the worst of the muck off my baby today I just hope the 20 mile drive back home doesn't nullify the job Poor thing has been stuck in the shed all dirty for a week. I know she is as ready as I am for at least a little road time

Great! There's a HB right across the river. I feel like dressing up the MINI and driving around spreading Xmas cheer and perhaps a present or two to unaware pedestrians. Maybe I can get a quick Santa outfit for me and an Elf costume for my son. If THAT happens you can expect a picture in the next few days.

According to the Willis MoDM Facebook page, they have recently placed a 2011 BRG/B MCS on display inside the Coral Ridge Mall (see pic below)...has anyone seen it up close and personal?

Also, MofDM has a white and black top All4 Countryman in stock. We're driving thru Des Moines today and plan to stop and take a look. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.

Congratulations -- that's exciting! Now the wait begins... 
You may already be familiar with it, but there are some "MINI tracking" threads on here that give you links to site that will allow you to track the movement of your new MINI from factory to shipyard and "across the pond" once it is built. Adds to the fun (but might make the wait seem to take longer).

Saw the bsteig-mobile at about 5:45 into this clip from last August at Winter Park...might have missed a few other local MINIs. Certainly a bunch of recognizable tags in there.

MINI of Des Moines pictures
We stopped at MINI of Des Moines this past weekend (during an ice storm...). Sounds like they have been really busy. They had 7 Countryman (men
) on the lot. Here are a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. The colors weren't bright on the vehicles outside as they were ice covered.
They have a lot of inventory on the lot.
I'll post more pictures in my gallery.
