HDI (intake) now available direct from DDM

DDM, the developer of the HDI and the 62 SC kit is making a transition in distribution... as of today they are listed/or will be on NAM as a vendor... during this time while final distribution is being settled you can get this (IMO) incredible intake direct from DDM at a cost of $230.... there are 36 in stock ready to go

Call Dave at DDM 864 907 6004...

interesting. we were just about to order a Mini Madness with cowl mod for the same $$. What's the scoop with WMS not being exclusive on the HDI? Scratch that...don't care. Which one is better?

I had; stock, Dinan, Alta and the HDI and I can truly say the HDI out performed the others (IMO) and will be on my car when the 62SC mod is complete.

So Webb outsources the HDI production to DDM?

What do you recommend about replacing the stock hose? Is the Alta hose the only option...and where can I get the best price on it?

The 62 SC is the 30% larger supercharger. it is a very exciting new mod being developed for the MCS..... there is a working prototype on a stock car and my car is the "mule" for the modded engine version......there is a long thread going ... take a look https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=73771

That's because he originally typed dmmworks, not ddmworks, then edited the text of the link, but not the link itself. I just fixed both links above so they now point to the correct location.

Hello everyone,

The intake will be up on our site in the next few days, our web designer is working on putting it on there. We do not offer silicone hoses for the intake at this time. Until the intake is up on our site, feel free to give us a call, we do have a limited supply of them, but will be happy to send you out an intake.

Take Care,
Dave

OK, now it is official..... since I am not an employee of DDM but just a huge fan and Dave has announced his presence....you can contact him.... (I have gotten several PMs)......this is a quality product from a quality guy...... while I can't speak for DDM, I can continue to render opinions so if you like you can continue to PM me...... remember this is the same guy developing the "62" kit so hurry up and buy out his stock of HDIs so he can get back to the 62.....

re the AGS..... I never completed the install so I can't really say... the AGS will not work with the 62..... all my friends that have AGS love them but I am not a good resource....guys like CustomAV, Drobnxs, MSFITOY all have very positive things to say..... and I can't say enough about Peter's customer service to me... he has been great.....

I've been waiting since April to get one from Webb!

Is this the same exact intake? Maybe I just get a refund from Randy, and buy it here instead of waiting any longer.

Any plans to sell this and the m62 as a package? Like "stage X" kit or whatever? Maybe throw in some sort of software upgrade as well? Would love to buy the HDI directly from DDM but I'm really interested in what happens with the m^2 development and would prefer to buy it all at once

I don't think there will be package price per se...... the 62 kit while being developed as a DIY for people with talent ( you know who you are) pretty much anyone can fit the HID..... while the 62 is being developed by DDM it is in concert with BRperformance where as the HDI is solely a DDM creation/product.....if you are looking for this style intake I would jump on it.....but that is me

I can't speak to that.....DDM and WMS have apparently gone seperate ways.......... DDM makes a box similar in construction for the Miata.... Dave happend to be at RSpeed when I was there with my car.......Joe (from Rspeed) showed him my intake/engine and Dave decided he might be able to address the Mini..... the HDI is his solution. WE spoke of a 62 solution/kit either that day or shortly after and then it kept coming up.....as they say "all due respect," I think the future of WMS needs to be discussed in another thread.

I give up!

I wait for WMS to deliver the HDI and... zippo. I cancel my order with WMS and order an Alta, elsewhere. It has yet to show, and now the real developer of the HDI appears. Can't win.
