I've been trying to contact Randy for over a month by email and phone...no return emails or calls.

Anyone?

This past weekend was his last pulley party. He should be in the shop much more now.

Both he and Brian have been on the road doing the 'last pulley party' blitz for the last month, so if you're trying to contact him directly, that could be the issue.

I was just about to post the same thing. I've been trying to get a replacement Milltek warranty replacement resonator for almost a month now.

Pulley parties or not - what about email, cel phone, and any of the other great technological marvels that have been around for a decade or two.

I'm sorry, but if it was any other company, they'd gone down under. Customer service is pretty much non-existent. I've been trying to contact him for a month. Finally got in touch w/ Brian, but then he just up and disappears.

I tried email and phone calls. All I wanted to do was buy a unichip from Webb.

I gave up and went some were else. I do understand the time needed to pull off a pulley party.

Sorry, I know people get made at even the thought of asking the question when it comes to Randy but come on. If you want to be in business, some how you need to find a way to make contact with your customers.

If you want to buy a Unichip then just buy one! Go to the webb online store, order it, then wait for the mail man.

Why do you need to talk to Brian or Randy to do it? You only do that if it doesnt turn up after a realistic waiting time.

Randy said he'd send out my replacement resonator a month ago. I am still "waiting for the mail man"

I ordered a header today, it had better show up tomorrow as promised.

Yes, Randy is hard to get ahold of and the great guy stuff only goes so far. I like Randy and believe he knows what he is doing and I wanted to ask a question of him prior to purchase. Since I HAVE to have it tomorrow I went ahead and ordered it.

ROFLMAO ^^^^

Guys, think about it, if he is constantly on the move and getting everything together for pulley parties, how is he suppose to answer questions from every single individual. I'm am more than sure that everyone who works at webb moto is more than capable of answering your questions. Give the man a break. Why does it have to be Randy?

My only suggestion for Randy is to somehow get a voicemail network and a headset so he can remove pulleys and talk like a secretary to his headset all day. Oh and maybe he needs a UPS man to follow him everywhere he goes. Or better yet maybe he should outsource to India and Taiwan like every other American business these days.

TOTALLY SARCASTIC ^^

Everyone tried to give him the benefit of the doubt as he has done a lot in the early days for the mini community. The chasing around the country for quick tax free cash most likely is a tough thing to overlook but in the long run it is not a good idea for his current customer base. The same thing applies to amount of time spent traveling and preparing for races and lets not even get into the further dilution of his meager resources with the Lotus parts. Sacrificing the future for the present is never a a good thing and it will always bite you in the *** later on. It seems as if now could be termed " later on " judging by this thread. He is a valuable resource for the mini people but he has to be available to be such a resource. I have nothing against the guy but someone close to him needs to get him back to the basics of running a small buisness and that is customer service , first last and always .

I still haven't received my Extreme Swaybar ordered on the 6th of this month. I also ordered some new plugs and wires, and just received the plugs today. Furthermore, I had to e-mail three times (which didn't help much), as well as call last week just to get an update to see what was going on.

My last two orders a year ago were quite smooth, but this time, not so much.....

Really, what exactly would you do if they didn't get there in time? Wait another week, before you put another aftermarket item in? Are you on a deadline to have your car done by?

I'm in no way sympathetic to Randy, OR complainers for that matter. I have been waiting to purchase his exhaust since November, now I finally get the chance. Good things come to those who wait, not those who are impatient as hell and complain more than my 96 year old grandma.

I will agree with everyone though I do believe randy needs to spend less time on his adventures and more time on his customers. Both sides need to be more rational though, randy needs to be more rational with his priorities (whether he wants to be a world tourer/race car driver or run a business) and everyone needs to be more rational on what to expect from a 4 person business.

Just my $.02

Alpha Cenauri - brightest star in the constellation Centaurus and 3d-brightest star in the sky; also known as Rigil Kent or Rigil Kentaurus

I race 2 times a week.

When I order an item, I expect it in a timely fashion. I'm not out there to buy this stuff for the hell of it.

Howdy bros! I recommend listening to the new White Roof Radio podcasts with Randy as a guest. He has literally been on the road the entire month of May, most of it driving to and from Denver to events in the East, West, and in between. Given this, a two-day pulley party can easily become a five-day event with transit time in between. San Francisco was the last official pulley party, so PLEASE have some patience and understanding.

Neither is anyone else. I have already stated that I believe Randy needs to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, and if he had however long ago that you ordered them I'm sure you would have gotten them by now. But until he does dude all you can do is wait, because I'm sure when I order my exhaust this week that a business with this type of load, being run only by two people, won't get to it for a little while. R, dude I'm not against you here and I feel your pain, but unfortunetly complaining and making rash statements aren't going to make your mounts get there faster, or else I would have started b!tch!ng a long time ago about the exhaust. You as you have stated, can vote on Randy's behavior with your pocket book, and that is surely a rational option that if happens enough, might get randy to change his ways.

Peace man, i want peace... Where's a hippie smiley when I need it?

Yes, I can do something.

I would rather give Detroit Tuned my business if they can get me the bushing.

Long story short: Operating a small business from the road is actually not that hard. You use your cel phone and a computer. You check your voicemails and emails from the road and FOLLOW UP ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. And how hard is it to put an Out-Of-Office message on your email account? Even if you're not able to ship anything for a month you have to keep your customers INFORMED and AWARE of the timeline. At least then they can make other choices, and they'll still come back to you for the next purchase.

Anyone posting that is is acceptable for customer service to be nonexistent for a ***MONTH*** has either never been in sales, or is destined for certain failure.
