Drivetrain TwinCharge Kits
Curious, with this range of power on the mini 230-260 horse at the wheels, torq 200-210 plus..
what type of acceleration figures are accurate for say a 0 to 60 or a qrtr mile? ball park if no one knows, like what ? a 5 second range and a 12 second range quarter?
with say a decent driver and road tires..thanks guys

Generally speeking, 250 won't get you to 12sec. 300 with slicks, maybe. A drag customer of ours, running 230-ish did a 13.8 with 1st gear traction problems. MAybe he would get close to 12.99, but i think low 13's is reasonable. But 250WHP is kind of the limit on the stock Mini engine.
I ran a 12.7 @ 113 mph on street tires when I was making 275 WHP...but that was cutting a 2.0...so...belive me it was tough...I was driving the heck outta those tires...LOL...they were very quick to spin...cuase they were not only too hard ..but bald...LOL
bump for a ride request...
I have been debating going for a twincharge upgrade for a while now. I was wondering if there was anyone in the New England area that would be willing to give me a ride so I could feel the change in the car's characteristics (any turbo-lag, driveability issues, clutch engagement/frying issues) I am curious to feel the difference between my JCW and a TC ride (again ride request, not asking to drive it)
Thanks in advance,
O
