Nitrous isn't my bag hehe. Hopefully I'll get a turbo only setup up and running before end of the year. I'll try to figure out the lag issue. Maybe a sequential setup? lol That'd be insane

Ah Sequential, to think I spent all that time removing that crap from my rx7 to go single turbo....the base rx7 is really fun to drive with the seq setup when it works. I had to get the mini because I destroyed all my low end in the rx7...lol. Plus I don't feel like fixing the AC the Radio or putting back on the power steering :-) 0 to 4000rpm my mini is way more fun than the rx7 but after that the rx7 is pretty insane :-)

Choices...

i think ryan just ran his mini on the dyno saterday on his turbo only

kit that he designed he made 262 hp at the wheels 297hp crank, 256ftpd of torq at the crank at the wheels was 223ft lb of torqe with only 16psi of boost, well see when we turn it up to 22psi

360 is possible with the formula we will see

crazy i tell you

Ok, so lemme get this straight. Remove all current power mods or revert them back to stock, run 93/91 octane depending on where you live (I don't want to have to run race fuel all the time), swap out the exhaust header with catalytic converter & catback (no straight through, gotta stay emissions legal!), plunk down the $, install the kit as described, tell them what your WHP objective is, tell them whether it is a track, drag or street car and your set?

well ryan bought all stock mini not cooper s parts for his convertion swaped the stuff fabed his own exhust and his own turbo tubing made his own header and wham all the power you need best part is the way he hid the turbo and tubing makes the car look like a stock cooper, you dont even notice the intercooler in the front airdam and you can onley see the turbo from way under the car and yet its out of the way of all the debree and road grime
simply brilliant

this kit looks more sound and more proper than any kit i have seen turbo and or twincharged, its almost a factory looking look as it was meant to be the way it is not an afterthought

the only thing he has is the unichip witch he uses to creat his own maps, he is crazy smart, i wish i could do as he does or acually had the guts to try on my car

Dyno graphs please! That is very good! When does it build boost? There is no doughting you can make good power with turbo only, but i think some people wouldn't like waiting for boost. I on the other hand, i am used to waiting to 4000RPM before real power kicks in, so turbo for my self would be just fine. Using the Non S parts is a great way to fix some of the issues with roughting, maybe some pics???

I'm not too worried about not having low end boost. I usually rev the hell out of my car so doesn't matter too much.

I'll be going for ***** out power just to see how much I can make and set a 1/4 time. After that, pop in a smaller turbo more suitable for putting around town

haha? dont get it.
do a search of 'twinscrew' u will see what i mean.. ie. people have been referring to twincharge setups as 'twinscrew'. never understood this. is this meant to be a good thing or bad? i can see how it can be interpreted as both

I believe you are refering to the RMS kit. They have a "twinscrew" supercharger kit. The twinscrew kit is not the same as twincharging. It only replaces the blower.
