I have no idea how it compares to the stock one yet (I am waiting to get back temp probes and a magnehelic that I lent out). It doesn't appear to cause any vacuum leaks and my boost readings look neither much higher or lower than what I'm used to with the stock IC. So, in summary, it may work better or worse than stock: no data yet.

The IC should fit just fine. It is close to the hood in the front, but still should clear.

Andy, if you install our normal TIMC and it sticks up past the bottom of the scoop, then the engine may be rotated backwards a little. Just loosen the pitchstop mount and lower mount and twist then retighten.

Other than that it should be just fine. Some tweaks of the final part may be needed still but it should be fine.

Slightly dissenting opinion: I rather like that fabricated racing look. Welded aluminum sheet is probably lighter in weight than the cast tanks will be too. Remember: simplify and add lightness!
