I have no idea how it compares to the stock one yet (I am waiting to get back temp probes and a magnehelic that I lent out). It doesn't appear to cause any vacuum leaks and my boost readings look neither much higher or lower than what I'm used to with the stock IC. So, in summary, it may work better or worse than stock: no data yet.

Ask your questions in English and I'll answer them.
1. Are you saying your hood does not close properly now?

2. When you're done testing the UUC (exhaust?), if you don't take it apart, are you considering selling it?

Thank you wagnbat. It is truly sad that you had to do this.

Please let your buddy know that I would be happy to answer any of his questions as long as they are written in English.

BTW, please don't try to translate for him, errors will undoubtedly be made in any attempted translation.

The IC should fit just fine. It is close to the hood in the front, but still should clear.

Andy, if you install our normal TIMC and it sticks up past the bottom of the scoop, then the engine may be rotated backwards a little. Just loosen the pitchstop mount and lower mount and twist then retighten.

Other than that it should be just fine. Some tweaks of the final part may be needed still but it should be fine.

No, what's really sad is that maintaining the appearance of being illiterate has some kind of elevated social status attached to it.

I understand you, Joker, but your writing style is an affectation, just like a suburban white kid trying to sound like a black rapper. It makes you harder to read and to take seriously, even though you seem smart and well-informed. This is America, though, so do what you like.

I did notice that it's a lot more civil here right now! Who'd a thunk it?

BTW, didn't Alta give the IC to Andy because they _knew_ he would produce quick results?

Slightly dissenting opinion: I rather like that fabricated racing look. Welded aluminum sheet is probably lighter in weight than the cast tanks will be too. Remember: simplify and add lightness!

05 MCS - Reasonably light but not all that simple
96 M3 - Not all that light or simple!

but hes to busy given me crap about how i type, again!!

mayb the results are not so hot, or he wants to keep it to himself & make everybody wait till hes ready jk
i too would want the lighter unit!! but is it easier than cast ends to produce!?
