I think that we have determined without a shadow of a doubt that 200 whp is possible WTN (without turbo or nitrous) .......

Part of the reason why i didn't have certified person to do it is because i didn't know of W2W back then and I wanted to do it. I wanted to have the experiences and have fun.. infact I AM having fun.. on a rebuilt motor, with preset boost controls from the deliverer of the turbo and I JUST BROKE A HALFSHAFT!

ok so you guys win...let the ignorance spred...YOU are RIGHT the TC kit breaks minis!! I admit it...it's all Hubie's fault...damn him!!! he was 2500 miles a ways but he MADE it happen...WOO HOO!
OK! WHATEVER... you are making no sense at all.. perhaps there was not enough testing done or info released for all of our sakes.. and the PRELOAD as you said, and WAS NOT TOUCHED..

No bashing? please.. what was with the,"You and Ryan work for Garrett" post? thats bashing my friend. He knows what he is talking about.. trust me. Stop twisting the truths is all i have to say to you.

The thought of THAT must be breaking the hearts of your installers . I'm so baaaaad! Where/what are you getting [for] half-shafts? More importantly, will there be any weight savings? .

I must say, your car kicks ***. Just make sure it keeps going straight, in its own lane, when I'm next to you...heh.

fran·gi·ble ( P ) Pronunciation Key (frnj-bl)
adj. Capable of being broken; breakable. See Synonyms at fragile.

Let's break this down to two groups...those who have unlimited cash to fix grenades and those who don't. Like most of us, I'm with the latter so I prefer to build up enough to kick *** AND still drive home...

why would it be when we were in contact with hubie over the 3 day install and we did everything to his spec? I'm not saying nothing couldn't have gone wrong, but with what we were supplied with, and the advice of Hubie.. we have no clue.. BTW you still don't know what a wastegate is/does..

I didn't realise he was so talented when I met him, that does take some doing!! Is he doing this through mind control could he be the new David Blane

Just think you could be in the other lane against Hubie going into stage and suddenly your oil pressure goes your rod bends, piston starts melting etc. etc and all because he wants to beat you.

I am not sure what style of the kung fu he practices but he IS amazing....that's why I have been studying his practice...I think I learned alot during the build of the M600...so hopfully it will transfer into my mini when I decide to build it...then there will at least be two cars in to world that work properly since non of the others do...

But watch out Paul..if you close in on his records anymore you might just start hacing engine trouble...his powers are strong...

"whose on first?"

who are the owners of TC cars and who are the installers.........who has a financial vested interest in the outcome of this discussion and who is just trying to make their car better.......? there seems to be, I'm not sure, a lot of ulterior motives and I would like to have some reference for a better assesment of the discussion.

I have an 05 Xterra

Good point, Spider. Although, money is not necessarily the issue. I think we all have a certain amount of selective seeing by nature. I sure do sometimes. So, yeah, carry on...

"you should probably lay low for a while"

Well... i hope you don't think that TULs has a financial investment in this... I know he doesn't draw money for the twin charged kit. He is just a really big enthusiast who likes to get his hands on anything MINI related and likes to get his hands dirty... TULs... you can correct me if im wrong but im 99% positive about this...

And as a manufacturer... Their really isn't that much money to be made in these twin charged kits... by no means will the twin charged kit itself earn you a living. their is a lot of time and effor that has gone into the deveopment (look at the MINIUSA drag car) you would have to charge an obscene amount of money to really make it worth your while or you would have to sell a ton of kits! And unfortunately... their arent that many MINI owners who are willing to push THAT envelope. Im not saying that MINI owners don't like to add more power im just saying that this isn't the honda crowd... were their are people who make 600+hp off a 1.8L engine and drive it on the street.. people who have low 10sec cars that they race... its just a differnt type of owner
and i would have a hard time believing that you could find 100 people a year to buy twin charged kits... even 50 people would be incrediable difficult.... were as GREDDY turbo kits for hondas fly off the shelves! Again, nothing against the mini community its just a different kind of owner... one who isn't interested in making a BOAT load of power...

Also, i don't know for sure but... i don't think hubie makes a living off the twin charged kit or the drag car... he does it because he wanted to do something different with a car that is different. I know TULs doesn't make a living off it...

Speaking of financial intrests and investments... ill point to m7 in a polite manner...
