Does anyone have this and what are your thoughts? Can't afford the new intercooler but I'm considering the air diverter as an alternative.

 

I have it and I dont think it makes a big difference. Maybe a small one when you hit the spray but I'm not exactly sure. It is really cool when you have your hood open to hit the sprayer and have people jump back though

 

Looks to me like the only useful part is the sprayer, and you could duplicate that with $10 in hardware store parts...

 

If you're looking for a real performance gain, spend your money elsewhere...

 

How would you be able to do that from a hardware store... how about the spray button

 

The "button" is the rear washer - same as with the Alta. The nozzle is a replacement part at any auto store. That and a few feet of hose, and you've got an IC cooler spray...

 

so the water source comes from the rear window washer is that right?

 

That's my understanding. I believe that using Alta's spray hookup, it takes over the water hose that would otherwise wash the rear window.
