Mods can we move this to the interior/exterior mods section or maybe even beneath the bonnet. I don't see how this relates to performance mods...

Thumbs up for posting the least helpful response ive seen on here.

The intake is a performance mod. IE: people in this forum have performance mods such as this intake, and may.. JUST may know the colour of it.

I agree it still a performance mod question!

I have seen the red hose on a Chili red MINI and the color to off for me. I went with the blue hose instead. I think the red was a bit too orange against the Chili. I have seen it on a few cars though so I guess some people liked it. I used to have a good photo of someones car with it, I will try to find it.

Here is the photo I was talking about. It looks a little better in the picture than in real life. I don't think it looks bad by any means, it just wasn't for me. I hope the photo helps.

thanks! Thats what ive been looking for. Doesnt look bad, but i think i may go black anyways. I know its not a pefromance question, but it was a question about a performance part. More likely to get info here, where more people would actually see the product :-)

thanks for the info and image.

I don't see how asking about the color is a performance question! I will guarantee that the black and red silicone hose will net the exact same performance on yours and anyone else's car. Asking how well it matches the chili red paint sounds like an appearance mod to me.

If I cared how well you engine bay matched I will read a thread about "show me what under your hood looks like" in some sort of beneath the bonnet or exterior mods thread. But I only care about what people are doing to make there car PERFORM better and therefore I am reading the PERFORMANCE MOD section!

Give the guy a break. Everyone has probably posted in the wrong forum once in their entire membership. If the mod thinks it should be moved then they will move it. If you are not going to post any information that will help the guy with his question, then you should not post at all!
