You will see an Injen intake listed under the Alta one...it claims 12hp.

Now...This is all under their Mini Cooper "S" section, yet the description says Mini Cooper...no mention of S. I wonder if they just forgot to add it or if this intake is specifically for the MC, not the MCS?

I tried searching the part # on injens page, nothing found.

 

I've seen many sellers on ebay selling Injen intakes for the MCS. I wonder how this is on performance. Although Injen is known in the import world for quality products.

Looking at their product it looks like an aluminum tube and filter. The tube looks like its in the same shape as the Alta intake.

 

that looks like an MC intake. plus, if it's only 160 something, i doubt it comes with two pipes, like the K&N for example, and it doesn't really have the same bend towards the throttle body that the alta or K&N does.

 

If you take a look at they dyno chart at the bottom of the description it's clearly for a Cooper, not an S.
