Drivetrain '05 One-Ball / Fast Toys

'05 One-Ball / Fast Toys
Anyone out there tried the Fast Toys elbow for a One-Ball exhaust conversion on an '05? I've tried contacting Fast Toys several times and have yet to get a response. I'd love to know the pricing, doesn't pull down for me on their web site's ordering form, and availibility.
Plan-B is just to visit my local muffler shop to have an elbow made up, but I'd rather buy a pre-fab elbow and do it myself.

Thanks, I read that thread a while back. I finally did notice the [$125] cost on the web site. However, neither the direct order option works nor the downloadable order form using IE on my end. And since the thread is over a year old, my concern that the '05 exhaust is different is still hanging...

I placed my prder by phone, and had the part in about a week. Installs in a flash. Helps to have access to a Sawzall.

$50???
$75??????
$125??????????????
wow, you all need to learn to go OUTSIDE the big city and find the 'local muffler shop' in the country.... Good thing I currently LIVE in the country, because that shop wasn't more than 15 mins away!! And considering I paid a dollar for as many minutes as it took for me to drive there (one way = $15 if you haven't been paying attention), I think it might be worth your time to find that 'local muffler shop'
instead, of course, you have such deep pockets that $125 doesn't matter all that much to you..... In which case, come see me sometime! Just jokin'!

I guess there are three options here:
1) Have muffler shop fab a mild steel elbow [$30-50] and install [$50-75].
2) Purchase Fast Toys elbow [$125] and have muffler shop install [$50-75].
3) Purchase Fast Toys elbow and have Driveway Muffler Shop [a.k.a. my driveway and garage] install for only the cost of a wee bit of blood, sweat, tears, and a few expletives.
Re: Tinny sound
Since I can't afford a glorified Italian flute, will have to live with the sound. However, since I don't find the stock sound offensive, a little more of the same should be fine.

We dynoed a one ball with all mandrel bends on our Mustang MD 250 (looking at the curves, that's probably what they used), and saw nothing close the the gains they are claiming. We saw a 2 hp delta in from 6000 to 6500rpm. Not much, especially for real world driving.
I wonder what thier comparative intake temps were.

I had my fast bend installed for 35 bux, all the guys have to do is jack up teh MINI. cut off the stock stuff, tighten the bolts on the new stuff and you're done. Its like a 15min job, no way should install be in the 75 dollar range.
Give me a few days, and I'll find out what I can from fast toys. I'll call my uncle later tonight and see what he says.
