This belongs with the M7 Plazzzzma booooooooooster and the "we've got a secret" device in the "faith-based" performance mods forum.

(Yankin' Peter's chain, that's all. Several of his other products are just fine.)

You could save your keyboard a few keystrokes by just typing in your signature "I think the Plasma Booster is junk."

This one is specifically designed for the MINI. Do you reckon it's it a load of hogwash, as well?

Anyone know if this is for real and actually works? Seems like a very interesting idea.

It's got to cool the incoming air, but I can't imagine how it does not restrict airflow so much as to be worthless. . .

Trying to get that blasted flux capacitor to work is quite difficult. The capacitor is not fluxing Any suggestions? And yes I'm giving it 1.21GWatts

More importantly... Does the CO2 have to be refilled???

I have dyno tested our CO2 Spray Kit with Timer

It has the capability to make power. We made a good 4 ft lbs of torque and 2.5 hp at the low end.

at the highend, the air is moving to quickly to be cooled much at all.

This has a benefit, but it is best mostly for drag racing.

See, now look at that.

Pilo racing tested the thing and it adds up to 2 Horsepower.

That's an honest vendor in my opinion. I'll support that attitude 100%

Of course it needs to be refilled.

I don't know how often though. 5 pounds of CO2 isn't a huge amount.

I would think that the intercooler spray kit could potentially help with heat soak between autocross runs? I mean, you see all the WRX guys packing ice around their top mounted intercooler between runs...

Run, *poof* cool it down, run, *poof* cool it down, etc.

The coldfuzion.com stuff is complete crapola...

You could also run a secondary hose for insertion into flat beverages. Not only would you get a good cooling for the IC after a run but you could keep your coke as fizzy as possible.

i don't have any problem with using co2 to cool parts for short periods (like the mini madness system) - it makes sense. but that exhaust plasma flux jet - crankcase vacuum stuff doesn't, at least not yet.

i have seen something similar to the flow ducer, in WRC(without cryo) it uses a spark plug in the exhaust to ignite unburned fuel to cause a vacumn like they are talking about(the mini explosion creates a vacum behind it as it travels out the exhaust) and i have seen a cryo type at adrag strip on a turboed car, to "prespool" the turbo, in other word they shot the cryo in the exhaust to spool up the turbo befor they left the line( it seemed to be about a half second before i guess that would depend on the turbo spool time)...I know the spark plug method works on WRC cars, for two reasons, keeps the turbo spooled up, and evcuates the exhauts gasses faster, now the one for the cry i dont know, i didnt talk toa the guy and never done it myself......still be cautious, im not familiar with that product, just something "similar" .........
