I don't have one right now. My car only has 24,000 miles and last time I peeked at the valves around 18,000 miles they were fairly clean. Also the car consumes zero oil. It seems that maybe the later model N18 engines are not nearly as bad as the earlier model N14 engines in this regard.

Hmm... looks like I spoke too soon. First fJCW I've data logged (Vlad) Stage 2+ Map A. Top of second gear at shift so ignore the AFR, it was 11.2. I'm thinking that more than just the MAP sensors may have been up rated.

Max PIDs per second?

how many PIDs per second are folks getting, and what hardware/software are you using?

so far the best data rate I’ve managed is 19–21 PIDs/sec using a Scantool.net OBDLink SX USB device and OBDwiz or ScanXL in Windows. (Doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s running in VMware or Boot Camp; the Mac’s IO isn’t the bottleneck.)

has anyone gotten a better rate than 20/sec? If so, how?
