When I first got my R56 I felt like I started driving stick again. I was a bit embarassed really. But between this mod and replacing torque arm bushings, it shift very smoothly.

Clutch Stop Installation photos

Hey MINI peeps! My husband and I just bought a 2014 S Coupe and the Burger clutch stop is our first mod.
My first time on a forum, but hubby, Mini chris, has been roaming around here for a while and has received a lot of help. I love photos when I'm learning how to do something, so I'm posting this in case anyone wants a visual.
Enjoy!

Lads - does this fit a 2009 JCW Clubman?

It's only $10 but figured i'd ask before buying anyway.

Thanks!

Installed yesterday, super fast shipping by BMS. I did what others here did and installed with two washers. So far for such a simple mod I'm loving it.

Installed mine just before on an 09 JCW Clubman

Had to cut a bit off the end for it to go in all the way and getting the original one out was awkward, theres not much room down in the footwell.

Unfortunately I can't drive the car at the moment, has a smashed sunroof thats pretty close to completely falling out :( Won't be fixed until July either.

I did roll it forward and back a bit and it felt so much better with the new clutch stop installed.

Will this work for a 2012 JCW Coupe with N14 engine?

Installed it today. It appears you do not even have to remove the lower dashboard to install it.

+1 ^^ good tip, does look like a witches hat. We carry the BMS version also and first upgrade for most owners. Quick and easy.

For anyone out there still driving an R53, I just put this in my 06 JCW and had to remove all the shims! All the way in with 2 or 3 it wouldn’t start, and with 1 it wouldn’t go into gear—couldn’t even back it out of the driveway. With none and just the plug with the rubber top, it shifts great! So much better in the hot summer with the AC on. Makes the clutch-work much less stressful.
