R56 Fuel Injector Questions

Question A:
What size are the R56 stock fuel injectors?

Background story:
I'm getting my turbo worked on by GPopShop (gpopshop.com) and along with some other ancillary modifications I'm guessing I need to increase the size of the Fuel Injectors. I'm a fan of the ID725 (yes, overkill) but it seems they don't make products for the R56.

Question B:
Has anyone else gotten bigger injectors than the JCW 380cc? If so, which ones would you prefer, and what size to suit 300 bhp (Not sure if I'm going to make it that high or not, we'll see)

Thanks for help!

Pretty sure that since the R56 is DI no larger injectors are neccessary and the 380cc injectors you're referencing are for the R53 JCW. I could be wrong though...

looks like you are getting the GEN1 tri-tec engine MINI info mixed up with the Gen2 MINI....
The gen2 MINI uses Direct Injection...a TOTALLY different technology and technique than the gen1 MINI.

I believe the guys over in the UK have gotten near 300bhp with the stock injectors on some of their crazy projects. Not much of an aftermarket yet for these style injectors.

it seems the injectors are ok for a while, im more worried about our HPFP, i wonder if we can rebuild ours like the VW and mazda ones or place in another bosch one thats similar and could possibly work from something like an rs4, as long as the fuel pressure stays constant im sure our injectors can make almost 300

which injectors should I chose?

I own a 2009 Cooper S. Recently has been diagnosed with a bad injector (#4). Was going to cost about a grand at dealer to replace 1 injector. Just the injector from mini is $300 and change. My question is can I replace just one? or... Is there any aftermarket injectors (BOSCH) that i can use instead of a $300 injector?

injectors

ECS tuning has the bosch injectors for $260 ish for all 4 of them. They also list some install tools and gaskets. There are a few threads on this and everyone has stated that they were thrilled with the price and the result. You can also get your new spark plugs there and the special socket to put them in.
Please take some picts of the process- as I am sure that more people will proactively change their injectors while the price is so tempting.
Good Luck~~

My last dyno was 368WHP and I'm using OEM injectors. Without going thru the numbers, this is well over 400BHP. Injectors the last things you need to worry about in the HP race.
