OBX DP + OBX Cat back exhuast sound clip?

Does anyone have a sound clip of the total OBX system under pull on an R56? If anyone has dyno number on that system I would appreciate it as well!

It sounds Killer!!! I've seen your clips several times before but never thought I would run into you on NAM. I really love the sound.... I've been on vibrant quite a bit... did you get the street power muffler or something else? What diameter pipe did you roll with, did you leave the mid pipe that came with the DP on or go from the DP back? Lastly did you get a tune, if not have you had any problems with the car? Sorry for all the questions but any details would be awesome (hangers, transitions, etc.), as I would rather do my own exhaust then buy one I don't really want.

No problem on questions. So as it starts out obx down pipe and yes I used there mid pipe say one thing. I put a flex joint in on the down pipe and 86ed the ball and socket joint for a v band to connect to the mid. Sadly obx uses 2.375 id mid (to me not a deal breaker becouse it is still good to 230 Hp at the wheel) from there I go up to 3' tubing 2.875id. So the flange pipe on the vibrent muffler and resanator are 3' id but the tubing I went with sliped right in and left 1/32 or less gap to weld shut.

I got my pipe and other stuff from http://www.frozenboost.com/ I brought straight pipe and 90°bends. From there you can cut the 90° up to make the numberbends you need. Having a constant id you can cut and weld them easily.

For then muffler/resanator I got them from http://thmotorsports.com/ . The muffler is there part number 1047 resanator I believe is 1795.

Note the system sounds great but it dose drone. On youtube the blue and white is a 07mcs the vid out of the boot is a 09 Jcs both using this system. I hope this helps

Hey Mamut,

Where did you get your Megan Racing Coilovers and do you like them? I found a set for $1000.00 on outmotoring.com and didn't know if this is where you bought them or if you got them elsewhere. Thinking about getting these specific ones, check out the link below (tell me what you think): They already come with camber plates, and so I think it is a steal.

http://www.outmotoring.com/MINI_coop...coilovers.html

I will be getting the ones for an R56, as I have a 2009 Cooper S. Do you bottom out whether going over speed bumps or not?

I bought them used from a member here. Never bottomed out. I do rub because of my agressive offset wheels and 225/45/17 tires. Otherwise these are really smooth and precise. I like them a lot and the price is very good.
