I finally finished tuning my twincharged MCS! Running 20 PSI of boost on pump gas (93 octane), we were able to put down a SAE corrected 250 HP to the ground on a DynoJet. I have put over 2000+ hard driven miles on this turbo/supercharged setup during the R&D phase of the project and a production kit will be released shortly. With this kit, you can have the best of both worlds.

Pictures, dyno sheet, and more info will be posted shortly.
BTW, it is amazing how much abuse this motor can take.

Finally!

I'd been waiting to see someone turn out at twin-charged MINI. Been thinking of it ever since seeing the old Twin-charged MR2s.

Questions:
Are you using the stock supercharger?
What turbo does your system incorporate?
What does your exhaust/header look like?

Pictures please!!!!

I hope so, because I'm skeptical of there being any truth to this from a first-time poster....

I'm right off of the GSP exit 120. Please get in touch with me, I'd love to give you a ride....or better yet, I want you to drive and experience what an extra 100 FWHP in a MCS feels like.

If this really is SPI (see profile), I've read about their project cars in several magazines - and I wouldn't doubt at ALL that if it's SPI, they pulled it off.

Way to go macncheese!

Instead of being a naysayer, you just got yourself a test-drive!

I guess I have to be the downer and question why the use of two? 100 extra hps can be had easily be other means. What makes this more effiecent than say a single turboed example?

Post pics of the tech "break through."

good low end from roots-type blower, good top-end from exhaust-driven turbocharger. The best of both worlds from a small-displacement motor. I hope Cheese comes back with some pictures/video/ecstatic remarks about this car

Uh, any naysayers remember the '93 RX-7 [sequential] twin turbo. What's wrong with sequential [turbo] superchargers? It seems nearly every other performance mod has been tried. Anybody seen Randy Webb's test mule? I don't recall this person trying to sell anything. Why is the prevailing attitude on NAM that anyone speaking enthusiastically about their cars is somehow "obligated" to prove any claim?

We're all MINI enthusiasts. That is something we have in COMMON.

I don't think this has anything to do with people on NAM, I think it has to do with ANY claims made on the internet without proof!

I dont think it has anything to do with the internet, I think it has to do with ANY claims made by people trying to be elected president.

Ok that was a bit offtopic. I'm really dying to see results from that car (bringing it back)

The ecu is still stock, so the limiter is still there. I have touched 130mph a few times, but never checked how long it took......
You can feature the MCS on your website, just need to clean it up a bit.
