The supercharger is still stock, so is the pulley. I am using a Garrett T28 with a custom manifold, down pipe, and exhaust system. I upgraded the intercooler with a larger top mount and custom piping for the turbo. Other than larger injectors, everything else is stock. I also believe that I am the first person to install and tune a twincharged MCS with an APEX S-AFC II.

The dyno sheet compares the stock MCS with the now twincharged MCS. As you can see from the comparison, at around 3300 rpm, the twincharged MCS is making the same HP as the max stock hp which is at redline. Torque is a totally separate issue since it is basically higher than stock from 2500.

Somebody pinch me I must be dreaming.... Looks fantastic, I look forward to more updates.

Twincharged: do you plan any modifications to the drivetrain, transmission, clutch etc., perhaps adding a L.S.D.? Seems like you would have some trouble with all the added torque keeping the rubber in contact with the road.

His, Chile RED over, Madness intake, Magnaflow exhaust, Helix Pulley & RDR Swaybar
Hers, Electric Blue / Union Jack on top and BONE Stock

What other means are you talking about, and how can it be had easily? Haven't tuners been working for a year now, and only recently BBR hit the mark? I'd pose the perspective that it neither comes easily nor cheaply, and I question the reliability. ...Not to say I think that the twin charged mini will be more reliable.

Why use two different compressors?

...Lets see:
There's the exhaust - won't necessarily need dual-cans as turbo will quiet things down nicely. = weight savings & less complexity/routing.

Performance:
If incorporated well would have the best of both worlds - supercharger boost from throttle on + mid-high rpm kick of efficient turbo boost. That's a KILLA acceleration combo.

Efficiency:
I'll bet the twin charged MINI is probably as fuel-efficient (if not better than stock) - when driven conservatively (speed ?)

If the MINI TC turns out to be reliable it'll be pretty hard to beat. There’s a LOT going on under that bonnet!

Price (I am certain) will be another story entirely. ...But then again you gotta pay to play

VERY COOL!

Will this affect the warranty?

YES!

That's a beefy looking intercooler - are you planning on selling them by any chance?

Gas mileage? Warranty? When you get to this point, who cares!

Do you maintain the bypass on the SC with this setup?

Looks very impressive, congratulations on an innovative and apparently very effective setup. How big are the injectors? What sort of boost are you running? Any idea how hot the air is going into and out of the supercharger? I can't wait to see this in person.

Can someone fill me in on what the following are?

a) The blue line inserted to the right of the intercooler

b) The "braided" line inserted above the ignition

blue could be for a boost gauge
braided looks like oil for the turbo bearings?

That is definitely something I would think about doing to my car. Plus if you think about it should have more power if you do the pulley mod, you would be very close to 300 hp......

Definently interesting setup, looks well engineered.

Other means combining both..? Centrifugal Superchargers: Belt driven and geared to spin around 30k rpm. Supercharger linear power with the hit of turbo performance.

Everybody talks up turbo lag like its an hour long or something. It would be if the charger your using is too large, but thats usually never the case for a street application. Even then, thats why big turbo people invest in nitro... to light them turbos. For street apps, if there is time to think about lag while its lagging, you have a problem.

Twinned, looks good. I may question the methods but at least you did it.

wheel spin has got to be bad... but kick *** setup!!

once you modify the suspension to keep the wheels on the ground you should be gold
