Do you guys recommend this for the '11 MCS setup? I've read that the stock intake has improved...

I'm eagerly awaiting a tune to come out. I'm actually rocking back and forth in my chair scratching my neck like a crack addict for it. Right now I've got the Helix FMIC. DoS a good next step?

 

As soon as I can fund the purchase of a DOS CAI I'll be getting one. I'll be wanting a dry filter for it as well so this is great news! I honestly can't wait and have pushed other mods further down the list in order to partake in the CAI goodness!

Quick Update:

Both the prototype filters are in-hand and we've taken a slew of measurements since last week.

We're currently putting the mounting parts for the dry filter into CAD this week and will have some prototypes machined or rapid prototyped by next week.

if that is the case as far as the rattle is concerned that you speak of personally something I dont know of with my mellow yellow turbo taxi always sunny in philly mobile. Why don't ya perform a experiment and adjust that actuator that turbo out a little so ya lose a little boost but its still the vader mobile just without the rattle. if thats where that noise is coming from.

installed the DOS today, it doesn't fit well with the Alta hard pipe. Kind of a funny noise , might have to get used to it.
