Don't get the shark .... Do a custom tune either remote or on location at a dyno.

I'd invest in either RMW or Mynes remote tool for custom tunes. That way if you make changes they can send updates via email to your tune later.

you might touch base with Marco at Turner Motorsport.

Turners has a great deal of experience with the Shark system, and Marco will not try and sell you - just tell you their experience.

I'd most likely have used this system, except that I'm running the Works software which Shark has not tackled as far as I know.

Running Stock S injectors, pulleys to 14PSI, CAI, Large TM intercooler, stock header, 3" straightpipe, supertrapp.

The sharkinjector has a much better throttle response than the "cartune" file that was on there before.

obviously the torque and hp curves weren't perfectly smooth, as it's a canned tune.

If you've got headwork, cams, a different charger, or 10:1 pistons then def get a dyno tune. Otherwise you should be happy with the SI.

Save your money DON'T get the Shark Injector. It only changes timing and rpm limiter.
We offer remote tuning modules, or you can send us your ECU for a tune and end up with something much better.

A tuner can do much more than just get you more power...
they can adjust the traction control/dec, and much more importantly adjust you gas pedal sensivity so it will feel like you have a sprintbooster.....so for the price of a tune, you get much more....
If you are going to spend the $$, get a good tune, custom or canned.

+1 to custom tuner. They completely remap the entire program as if at the factory. I've heard and read many stories of the ECU "learning" the Shark injector's mapping (or similar tools) and overlaying them, which thus puts you back at a stock ECU program.
