Why this product doesnt works with eu spec cars?

 

The AccessPORT doesn't work with EU cars because of different ECU programming, sorry!

 

is this information means totally no or in a few weeks/months it might be?

 

Mamut, I think that the company that sold you the AP should be responsible for giving you a unit that works properly. Your AP clearly does not work right and they should make good on it...

 

Currently, we haven't decided 100% that we will make a Euro Mini AccessPORT. If we get any progress, we will let everyone know.

 

Why is this priced so much higher than accessports for other vehicles?

 

The price is higher because of the development it took for the Mini AccessPORT, similar to the Nissan GTR AccessPORT. It was not easy!

 

I was waiting since it came out but in the end I just got the Dimsport tune from RMW. seems to be the best option so far for EU cars. the AP does sound awesome though

 

As soon as this gets sorted I'll be placing an order.

 

Chris, any news on the new maps for the Auto. tranny folks? I seem to remember that you said that you would have something for us at the end of last week. However, I just jacked my AP into my PC and have not found any updates available. Have these new maps been released yet?

lets say really bad miss for EU drivers....

A couple of questions:
1. Is there a way to get the AP to display the currently loaded map name?
2. Is there a way to read the entire map name displayed under the list of loaded maps? Mine is cut off to the length of the display, so version info on the end of the file name is not visible.

 

1. Yes, go to "Tune", and "show current map"
2. The full map name should show in the list when you are in the map list menu, unless you have special maps with your name in them. When you click on the individual map, it will then display the full map description.

 

Another vote (nudge, nudge) for a 2011 MCS (Auto... yeah, yeah, its the wife's) AccessPort.

From what I read on these posts this thing is an amazing tool.
Welcome mattgold....A few more and we'll have a mutiny on our hands lol.
To who ever is listening up there:-) I promise to purchase an AP as soon as it comes out for the '11 MCS's. Hopefully it keeps the P&B.

 

Call or shoot them an email, they sent me a new tune for the wife's auto MCS a couple of weeks ago and it's sweet!! She's actually complaining about TOO MUCH power now....lots more wheel spin than even before, haha.

 

I don't really care about the P&B 'cause it's not real, but I'd really like to get the AP for my MCS, which I've had since last Thanksgiving (sounds like a long time putting it that way), and get "real" power. I know Bosch didn't make this encryption easy but I have faith that the smart folks at ALTA can break the code. I would just like a "progress" update like 50% there, or 20% there??

Adam, do you have an educated guess (SWAG) on when you'll bring the 2011 MCSa to market??

Anyone know what this code is? I can't get it to clear.

 

It's a coding error within the ECU. It doesn't seem to effect anything as I had it myself a couple of times.You can clear it with the AP but chances are it might return.
The ECU is seeing something it's not recognizing (new coding from the AP?) and it throws the P303e code. Did an update awhile back and haven't seen the code lately, anyway, Good luck.

Thanks Maugre! It was showing the code when the stock flash was loaded, but went away when I re-loaded one of the custom tunes. Odd.

What is still showing is the little triangle with an exclamation point beside the trip miles on the tach. I thought that meant there was a code, but when I check the AP, no codes are reported. Am I misinterpreting what the exclamation means?

 

but can be as simple as...it needs gas. And the gas pump warning is showing if I cycle through the display. Add gas, no more triangle for me.
