Have any NAM members used this product ???
I found this ad for G Force; upgraded chips that alter the stock ECU settings. They are claiming + 4 to 7 MPG increase and more HP.
Can any NAM member please tell me if they have used this product or heard of this product.
Before I try it I need feedback !
Here is the Web address: http://www.gforcechips.com/minicoopers.aspx
The upgrades are available for Mini Cooper and Mini Cooper S.
Please let me hear your thoughts on this product; Good or Bad.
Thanks

Big time snake oil! Looks like another one of those chips that fools the air intake sensor into thinking it's 47 degrees or so outside all the time to alter the programming for more timing and supposedly more horsepower, fuel economy, etc. Not a good thing to do on a forced induction engine!

that ad sounds a lot like a resistor i once paid $50 for. thought I was getting a "chip", when it came in a regular letter envelope with instructions of how i could use it to fool my IAT sensor, i threw it out. Amazing the crap people hawk on the internet.
granted i was younger and dumber than today. lesson well learned.
