HELP! Pulley install fail!

Guys today I installed a 15% pulley on my MCS and also a brand new bypass valve. Everything went great except when I drove the car. I actually feel it has LESS pull than with the standard pulley. Brand new belt too and it is not slipping as the A/C is working perfectly and there is a healthy, higher pitch SC whine.
I just don't feel it!
What could have gone wrong??

If the BPV were remaining a bit open, I would think you could be losing boost from the constant re-circulation. If the belt is not slipping and you are getting the SC spinning faster (louder, higher pitch) It only makes sense that you are loosing boost somewhere. Do you have a way to check boost PSI? You should be getting like 14-15psi with a 15%pulley. 10-11 PSI is stock. It only makes sense, that if the pulley/belt was installed well and not slipping, that you would be losing power from the only other thing you worked on, the BPV.

i would def check boost leak.

specifically the bpv since that's the only area where you've touched.

Concur.... Boost leak likely at the BPV.

Yeah there was a leak alright. It was late, we were tired...

After driving it for a while and paying close attention, I started to notice a hiss under acceleration.

Looks like when we were installing the IC one of the corners of one of the rubber boots got pinched by the clamp. At first it didn't look like a mayor culprit, but I loosened the clamp, re-positioned the boot, took it out for a test drive and there was a noticeable difference. The hiss is gone too.

Gotta test it tomorrow for a longer period of time so the engine heats up to regular operating temperature.

Thanks guys.
