However, I've read on this site that some claim its a 5th Generation.

How do people know this? I can only find the existence of a 4rd Generation M45...

It's an Eaton M45 custom made to BMWs specs with provisions to have it drive the water pump.

 

$2,900 Canadian Dollars = £1,306 Pound Sterling = $ 2,224 American Dollars

Thanks norm I checked out that web site and they don't even sell the M45 Eaton.

The Mini's supercharger is definitely a BMW bespoke M45 Eaton. However, people are saying it's a 5th Generation but I can't find any literature to back that up. I've looked everywhere and it's really starting to bug me now.:rolleyes:
