Any real benefit to JCW injectors at this point?

is it worth the $300 to install them at this point in time. currently have Alta CAI, 15% pulley, oneball and colder plugs. I would be running them on a stock ECU, and probably wont get a tune for a while and thats if i do a few other things first, but will the injectors do anything for me NOW?

My guess is, probably not. I didn't get my jcw's until after i added my header, cam, and exhaust and right before I got my car custom tuned. I think you can only really gain benefit from the 380's if you get that tune to pull all your mods together.

They'll just use more gas and the only difference you'll feel would be in your wallet.

I'm looking at doing the same thing. Was offered a real good price on the JCW tune from the service guy at the dealer since I have gotten to know him. Around same price as a tank of gas. Would that be worth it. I have nearly identical mods as polepino does. Only difference is I have the JCW CAI. Probably get a tune down the road but not at this point. Can see the JCW tune having a benefit and from what I have read the upgraded head is barely upgraded.

380's do nothing without a tune period. You need the JCW flash to have them scalled correctly. Your ECU will correct your timing to adjust for all the extra fuel you are dumping. They are really a waste of $$$ without a JCW flash or a REAL custom tune. WMW, RMW/ Jan, Mynes....ect.

Damn if I was not so lazy and would have posted them for sale I would have sold you my 380's. I ended up selling them to someone for $200.00.

I only had them in my car for a few months with my RMW head and Cam waiting for Jan to come back East. When Jan came back I installed my 440's and the rest is history.

JCW 380's aare a great fit with CAI and Pulley

The JCW injectors work great on a stock ECU with and exhaust mod headers or other wise. The car has a tendency to run lean with a pulley and CAI.
It runs soother and actually gets better milage.

If you go headers and a head/cam you reaqlly need 400's or better to see a good yield in power along with remapping the ECU.

Been covered lots...I run jcw's with a 17%....and I can tell the differance at higher rpm's...it pulls harder...and my car starts better...no mini flu when seasonal fuel changes happen....and my car does not car which brand of 93 octane fuel I buy since the new injectors.....
My highway gas mpg is the same...intown mpg is lower...trip computer is now off for intown driving...but was it worth it? YES.
All the minor issues will be fixed in the upcomming tune....
I cannot speak about results/needs with a different pulley...but like I said, with mine, and many other folks in the NH/MA/RI area, we like the change, and are looking for more sets at good prices...we have more members that are impressed by our sucess.......
