Drivetrain Turbo vs Supercharged MINIs - let's meet at the track, RMW!!!
guess i'm missin' the point . personally the choice between turbo and s/c is about so many variables ; sound, spool up time , coking , fuel economy , etc. etc. it really comes down to what you want no? so if you prefer turbo you go with the guy what sells turbo crap for minis and if you want s/c then the choice is obvious lately so what's the big debate? which is better? who cares. it's about apples an oranges in mo .
Oh so I get it now!!!
You are not a troll at all but rather Jason from Mynes
. I just had to think about it a little bit but when you started talking tec about tunes it all made sense. That and your your extreme sensitivity to anythings MeMs related. Go back and read Jason. Nobody has said anything bad about your MeMs or your work on it. Take a deep breath.
So you really need to add vendor to your sig so everyone knows who the guy is throwing around all the smart *** comments.
Oh ya, I suck at spelling and punctuation like you. Spell check is your friend

The 2009 Audi A4 still use a turbo. We even looked at Caddy's
They had a brand new CTS-V in the showroom,
that car looked mean
Why the heck didn't the Audi guy show me one of those? The wife didn't like the looks of the A4, she said it was to boxy
Thanks for the info
Looks like another test drive tonight
Supercharging Returns to Audi
The 3.0-liter V6 TFSI engine in the new Audi A6 range is the first supercharged Audi engine in several decades. In standard form, the Roots-type Eaton supercharger provides max boost pressure of 11.6 psi, delivering 285 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque for the A6. For the 2009 Audi S4, this same engine with the same boost results in 329 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque

really?
is that why Audi dumped their turbo for the TVS?
brainwashed.... classic
might want to get caught up to the 21st century
also... don't forget the ZR-1 which beat the Porsche Carrera GT around the Ring
and the Caddy beat the M5 around the ring...... all using a TVS....... but hey... let's not let facts get in the way of a stupid thread...

Audi may be implementing superchargers into some of their cars now but their LeMans artwork of a car is still turbo. Not sure where you're going with that either...
All the fastest production street cars are running a turbo, or two, yet you fail to mention those...
Also, let's not compare American cars to German cars, apples to oranges IMHO. That's a WHOLE different topic, but, German engineering FTW!

Both are naturally aspirated, did I miss something?

I thought the Konnigsegg ran 2 Rotrex's which happen to be s/c?
while those cars are N/A they are also the fastest cars to run those times in their class at the ring until these 2 TVS cars came along. Not to mention about 2-4x the price of the TVS cars. We are talking about track times here .....
well... the German's took a beating by the Americans at a fraction of the price... end of story
too bad GM is bankrupt

Congrats it only took the American cars a few years, bigger engines, and forced induction to beat those cars.

As for the Germans taking a beating... Your last statement states quite the opposite

I must admit, YOU'RE a good salesman...
Biggest power
will always come from the turbo crowd, at least for the near future.. But that peak power comes with some costs... Everything is a combination of compramises, and there is no universal "best" despite what you read on the internet.
Really, this is a pissing contest into the wind... There are no winners, just a lot of wet shoes.
