Drivetrain Turbo vs Supercharged MINIs - let's meet at the track, RMW!!!
I agree with you. Some young adults, I guess, are still children mentally. (which is obvious by there comments). They just get a thrill out of getting into other peoples business.
My guess is that they get pushed around, or get no respect in the real world so they pump up there internet muscles and do it where theres no repurcussions
The mods finally stepped in and shut them down last night which was good to see. These clowns were really starting to make this thread look childish.
Good job looking out guys

. It was getting late
.Oh man I was just funnin around with you buddy. Hey look, I felt bad so I went out today and bought you a gift to make up. Give me your address and I'll send it.
Longboard
I had an idea about this supercharger/turbo challenge.
what if, instead of insulting each other, we actually made this a big vendor hosted mini challenge?
make it a weekend event at the track. have the challengers compete through a 1/4 mile run.
an autoX course.
while also allowing us to participate with our own cars as well. maybe even have the cali guys organize a cruise night event?
how about a nice show and shine, with trophys, and or prizes.
vendor booths, with the latest products and projects.
I am under the impression (correct me if im wrong here) that Mini USA logs on here often and actually listens to our feedback on the car. If this is true, maybe they might want to bring there latest models, or maybe even bring out a concept car or two? how great would that be!
After all, arent we all on here to celebrate our mutual love for one of the funnest cars available to us today?
Its just a thought, but what do you guys think? we can make this as big event as we dare. after all isn't AMVIV one state away? and they get close to 500 vehicles? Think of the potential this has with a technology challenge such as this

do they have a four slice version?
Revolution?
Mynes?
what do you guys think of my proposals?
both the event and the car restrictions.
You are both the challengers. And professional business men. There could be good money made for both of you at this event.
It gives both you a chance to explain to all of us what, and how the builds were done. And what gains were accomplished. it gives you a chance to show off your abilities.

Damn, no toe clips. I'll lose 50% of the cranking area, reducing potential power producing capability.
I haven't heard that one in like 30 years. I wanted one of those when I was a kid. I remember my neighbor had one, of course he was the kid on the block that had all the toys.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I think in $/hp terms, or rather $/laptime.
