Why do we even care about a challenge from a company that doesn't even offer any products for the SC MINI's? If you want a turbo kit....Great....go to Mynes and get one. But don't try and compare the two different products. When Mynes comes out with a product in the same price point/performance as what is now available then maybe we can have some kind of challenge. But until then there really isn't any reason to try and compare them.
I have no doubt that both parties are doing quality work and have a lot of satisfied customers, but they are producing products for two completely different customer bases.
And how long has this new stand alone unit been under construction........?

It seems everyone on this thread is all talk with their custom setups. Jan @ RMW has his parts readily available and shares tons of info and pics informing the community. These turbo setups and gadgets look cool but no one knows about them.

Same customer bases, but ABF and Mynes have been around for those people in the know.
I presume from the last comment you've scratch built an ecu with can capibilities in your spare time when not running your business?

yeah, and it ran just as good as the Fireballed street tuner car and RMW's drag car.....blah, blah, blah
the point is technology, parts, and even people evolve... hopefully all for the better. in the end we all as a community benefit.
so what is this all really about? harping on old facts, digging up lots of garbage to build hype, informing the community of new and exciting parts or events?...or just wasting more time once again.
i'll be at the track because that is what i enjoy. building and testing parts is what keeps me motivated every day. if in the end, we are the only MINI out there once again, it wouldnt surprise me, just adds to the already long list of disappointments...
look forward to seeing EVERYONE there...
Have you rung Mynes and asked them what SC products they offer or can get hold off, now lets think about this just for one sec............................

I am pretty sure that the fastest mini outside the CA (or USA) should be made by Dr Fuh 
He loves what he do and he has proven it

bigger superchargers instead of turbos in 1.6lt.
Sadly, sometimes Brainwashing can really work on the mass ...

I know it's hard for you to believe, but long before the almighty Jan was messing with SC tuning. Mynes was. 
Now, just becuase they didnt choose to use a software created by someone else and then say they thought all of the tunes up you need clarification? Just because they are actually developing a REAL tuning system specific to the MINIs factory ECU? Oh and that they have an actual STAND ALONE, not some plug an play BS like jan is calling a stand alone? And who did Jan steal said Plug and play from? Is it a rebadged Hydra? No one knows right now till someone finds out, then there will be another thread about Regbaged I mean Revolution MINI works.
Kal is running a Factory ECU on his turbo.
I think it's funny people act like Mynes is new. I think it was Hubie and Tuls working with mynes that did TONS of testing with them at the digital helm. I think Tuls more than proved the versatility and capability of the factory ECU.
